Our card took 5 days from the website saying card was approved to the card being delivered to the house. We have informed delivery and could see when it was shipped priority mail.

Yesterday I finally received my green card! I'm so happy and relieved that the wait is over and that I can work and go visit my family back in Spain!

Received a status update on my case this morning on the tracker that my case was scheduled for an interview. Ironically enough the new DHS website didn't update but the old tracker did.

mmmm ok. I just enrolled my usps informed delivery yesterday so I should be able to get any info. More patience. haist

Good luck! Hopefully it goes as smoothly as ours did. My husband is going to Social Security to remove his conditions today!

Ohhh I changed mine last Monday using the Notice of Approval. They will send my new card in two weeks. Until now DMV doesn't want to process my DL application just because my SSA is still under my single last name. hmpft

no idea I called and said that my husband is injured so he can't work and I'd like to know when I should receive my EAD card since the situation is not easy she responded she cannot do anything for me bc I was approved october 13th and they have until december 12th to send me the cards

Question: My husband went to the social security office yesterday to remove the conditions on his SS card. When he was at the office he was told he doesn't need to remove any conditions he just has to present his work EAD card when he accepts his job.  

 

I know people have talked about having to remove conditions on this forum and was wondering if his was different because he has worked in the US for 6 years prior to this process? We were a little confused? Thanks

Yes I agree that some people went on to SS office to get it changed but what I know is since the SS card says "Valid for work only with DHS authorization" so which means you can use this card along with your EAD (which in other words is DHS authorized). Again, this is what I think bu lets see what other members have to say.

Based on what I've read here is that you go to remove the conditions after you get the GC not the EAD. His Social Security Card probably says "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION." and the EAD works as the "DHS AUTHORIZATION"  Good luck!

Perfect! That is what we are thinking as well. Luckily he didn't spend much time at the social security office yesterday trying to figure this out and the women helping him was nice :)
