Hello everyone! Sorry I've only just found this subforum-- we got all three of our NOAs on July 31!

My husband had his biometrics appointment in early September (I think the 8th or 9th).

For the I-485 it now says we are ready to be scheduled for an interview, the work permit says "your new card is being produced", but the I-131 is still saying that they've just received our information and there's no update.

Any idea what this could mean? Should we be calling to check up on it?

Also, what are the interview wait times like?

Thanks in advance guys!!

Hi Sally,

You are not alone here. I have the same issue. My EAD status is showing "on 10/21 new card is being produced" but no updates for I-131 AP application. Although I heard lots of people say they will come in combo card, I am going to call in to check, just for my ease of mind. When did you see your work permit status changed?

She actually received a paper AP

Thanks for sharing. That is different. I have been visiting this VJ site for about a year and never saw that before, instead always saw people receiving their AP with EAD all together.

The interview times are dependent on the queue at your local office, I live in Ohio, our interview was within 3 months of submission, but I believe this is the exception and average times are around 6 months. Indeed, our green card was approved before the EAD was even processed.

Hi Randy,

I'm based on Columbus Ohio as well. My I-485 status started showing "case is ready to be scheduled for interview" on 10/17. Do you still remember how long it was between your "case ready for interview" and the interview actually happened? My husband and I have travel plans before Thanksgiving, so I just want to have an idea of how long the wait will be and make sure we don't miss that.

Thanks and good luck to you.

I believe it was about a month after filing for AOS for biometrics and the interview was 5 weeks after our biometrics, start to finish was just over 3 months. Exact dates are in my timeline

I literally just saw it. We signed up for SMS and email notification but hadn't received anything. I check every Monday anyway because I'm a crazy person :P

It says it started getting produced on October 18

My NOA was July 12 and still haven't received my EAD! We filed an SR last week, around the 90 day mark.

Anyone else in this situation?

My NOA1 is july 6th. I have put in two SRs both deadlines have passed for a reply as of today and no update since "we have received your case". Very frustrating.

My bio appt was July 31st. My status got updated to Ready to be scheduled for interview on Aug 14 and that was the last change.

Oh gosh that is soooo annoying :(

What field office would you be getting your interview?

I'm worried because I just checked and it looks like my field office is doing interviews from Nov. 2016 which means we may have to wait a whole year???

This was according to the USCIS website too.
