Congrats on your EAD approval. I don;t think it has delayed the process because most of the July AOS filers have been receiving their EADs. You are on the right timeline. By the way you may update your timeline on VJ so that it will be easy to assist in the future.

Thanks! Realizing I posted it in the wrong sub. Should've posted in the AoS from tourist visa

My wife's Green Card arrived today!

USCIS online case status showed a mail date of 10/18/2017 for time reference.

Good luck to everyone's remaining journeys!

Congrats :) All the best for the future

Relax, my wife and i had ours 2 weeks ago,   We too were stressed, but they only asked us simple questions, about our routine, our house, roles in the relationship. If you got this far you will do fine

Received my combo card in the mail yesterday, just a few days after receiving the online/text updates.

Such an awesome feeling! Hope everyone is on track to get theirs soon.

I updated my timeline to reflect the last few days.

Hello everyone! Sorry I've only just found this subforum-- we got all three of our NOAs on July 31!

My husband had his biometrics appointment in early September (I think the 8th or 9th).

For the I-485 it now says we are ready to be scheduled for an interview, the work permit says "your new card is being produced", but the I-131 is still saying that they've just received our information and there's no update.

Any idea what this could mean? Should we be calling to check up on it?

Also, what are the interview wait times like?

Thanks in advance guys!!

The interview times are dependent on the queue at your local office, I live in Ohio, our interview was within 3 months of submission, but I believe this is the exception and average times are around 6 months. Indeed, our green card was approved before the EAD was even processed.

You dont have to worry about Travel Document/Advance Parole (I-131) because that and EAD(work permit) will come on the same card. The same card can be used for both purpose. As per your interview it depends. Since your status has changed to "ready to schedule interview" in a month or two and in rare cases it will take more time to get a interview date. All you can do is keep waiting

Not necessarily, my wife received her AP in very short time, her green card was approved and still no movement on her EAD, most come together but not ALL
