Hello everyone!

Maybe someone could help me

We filled all forms with my old last name and would like everything to be with my new last name. I know that I have to write and sent letters to all offices wich work with my case. Maybe someone had similar situation? I just want some kind of example how that letter should look and sound

Would be very thankful for any help here :)

Hi, im not sure if there is a way to do this while your application is pending. You could always wait until the interview and then request to have your name changed when they ask if there is any update on your application forms.

Looking at all the good news that most of the July filers are getting am sure your EAD must also be on its way. Good Luck :)

@Adam&Allison

Hey, I just got the job offer of a lifetime that I cannot pass up. It has been 96 days since my EAD was due. They need me to start within the next 2 weeks and I'm going to be so devastated if I lose this opportunity due to waiting so long on my EAD.

I know you have had some experience with this. What's the fastest way for me to expedite my EAD?

Thank you!

My case status online just changed to RFIE today and RFIE dated October 5th.

@venom123 I have seen you asked this question a couple of days ago or probably a week ago. And you have already been told on what the people who expedited did to expedite. Job offer, bills, etc etc. If you have a job offer like you said, then use that. That’s the BEST way to expedite. And if it’s already 96 days then you should consider calling the USCIS if you still hadn’t submit an SR.

I submit a SR and was due to receive a reply on October 13th. I received no reply so I submit another SR yesterday.

I received my job offer today and it's only valid for 1 week.

Since you submitted SR already, call and start with telling them you have a job offer that you can not accept yet due to the fact you have not received your employment authorization document, though you submitted SR on so so so so date, you would like to know the best way to send in your job offer. You were expected to start within two weeks and now you have a week left or don’t tell them you have a week left, just wait and see what the officer’s response would be before proceeding to say you have a week from now to accept the job.

After telling them the above, they may not ask you to send the job offer. They will take note of your request and possibly give you an estimated no of days to expect your card. Don’t be surprise within 3 from your call, like mine.

Just called in. She said she cannot put in another request because I currently have an outstanding request. She said I just have to wait for them to reply.

My case status also changed now to ‘mailed your new card’, while I received it last weekend. Lol

I guess it depends on the way you presented it, you don’t need to wait for the officer to remind you about the SR or maybe it depends on the officer you spoke with or they are not ready for your case yet. You should have requested for a tier 2 officer?

Today I got the notification from USPS that letters from USCIS - NBC were on their way. This afternoon I received the USCIS mail regarding our EAD approval notice but unfortunately one of them did not make it to our mailbox. I already notified USPS about it, lets see what went wrong. Just minutes ago I saw that the status change to "Card Was Mailed To Me" for the I-765 applications and that the new cards were mailed to us Yesterday Oct 16. Hopefully the interview date notice is also on its way. Best of luck for this July group and the rest of the immigrants on the same stressing waiting game. ;)
