I just called them and yes, it will reset. They wouldn’t consider my point about just receiving the RFIE after 3 months of NOA1. The lady I talked to said that they will just put it ( AOS ) on hold but then when I asked her if it will affect my EAD application, that’s when she said that it will reset.

That's a shame - the plus is that at least AOS won't reset. It's a shame that EAD and AP are being reset to zero. Especially as you're three months in.

Exactly. It’s just confusing if it’s only EAD that’s gonna be reset. Because I asked her if EAD and AP will be affected, she only commented on EAD being reset. I guess I’ll just see what happens and I’ll update here. Thank you.

My EAD has been pending 97 days today, I put in an SR 20 days ago over the phone and no update. The website just let me put in another request and says I'll get a reply in the next 12 days. If anyone else is waiting on an unanswered SR you may be able to put in another one.

@Ehri&Mark so sad to hear about your situation. I called USCIS today to file SR for EAD since I am on my 77th day from the date they received my application, the lady gave me SR# and said I will get a feedback within 30days.

May I confirm if the poverty guidelines stated on their website is yearly or monthly? Though my husband said it is yearly.

As for my AOS, my local office is wayyyyyy behind. As of today, they are processing applications received July 2016 so it means I might have my GC after a year. They even said that I am still on the timeline, however, can I send an SR after the 90th day mark?

With regards to my AP, I was wondering why I didn't get a NOA1 (only the EAD & AOS), according to the CSR, they are still processing the AP applications received April 2017 but then I saw some July filers they got approval or NOA1 for their AP.

ROC JOURNEY

02/13/20  --- ROC packet sent

02/18/20  --- ROC packet received Texas Day 0

02/21/20  --- SMS notice received EAC (Vermont)  Day 3

03/16/20  --- NOA 2 received dated 03/06/20- Biometrics schedule  Day 27

11/05/20  --- Notice of transfer of case to NBC  Day 261

From what I heard from a lawyer, people working in these officers have certain targets to meet, there understaffed and overworked.

Why would they care about people’s requests, at the end of the day, they still get paid no matter what

I kind of understand, the lawyer told me and my wife horror stories of when she’s been dealing with agents and tier 2 agents.

My EAD was a July 15th file date, I’m hopeful 2/3 more weeks and I’ll be good

I have found the people I have dealt with to be dedicated to their jobs and genuinely interested in helping us to reach our goals, I am sure that some are les than enthusiastic about their jobs but the majority are dedicated and hard working

I need everyone’s prayer right now please. My new job just called this morning for me to go over and start paper work when I already informed them about the situation at hand. Well they said I should let them know as soon as soon possible because they need me right away. 12 minutes ago, according to my informed delivery, USPS accepted a shipment from USCIS. I hope it’s my EAD and not RFIE or RFE. Case status hasn’t changed and SR not assigned yet.
