congratulations! How long had it been before you submitted an SR? mine has been sitting for 70days. I know I can only make a follow up affer 75days but I am wondering whether I should wait a little more if it means getting a positive response like yours. :)

Over 80 days after NOA1. My acceptance date is 07/05/2017.

I had my AOS interview on Monday (10/02/17) but was only told that I would receive a notice in the mail with their decision. The interview itself seemed to go fairly well and my wife and I were asked pretty basic questions so I found the fact that they didn't tell us their decision there and then kind of odd and slightly worrying.

Luckily, I received an approval notice in the mail today so I guess there was nothing to worry about. My online case status still just says "Interview Scheduled" though so I have no idea when to expect my actual green card.

Congratulations! I don’t think you should worry that much. Maybe the interviewer was just easy. You mentioned he said you will receive a 10-yr GC. That’s great! My husband and I have been married for 4 years and have two kids, I was out of status for almost 4 years. So I am really hoping my interview will go fast and easy as yours! So far I haven’t got any changes, still waiting for EAD/AP and no changes online about AOS as well. I can’t answer your question, but Congratulations! 🥂

Thank you!! Wish you best of luck on your journey :) when did you send in your aos packet?

Congratulations!! I had my interview on Tuesday (10/02) and was told we were approved and was given a letter. But I haven't received any approval notice in the mail yet and our status is the same as yours. Your GC should arrive soon! :) hopefully I get my notice in the mail next week. Can't wait!!

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone here is an applicant in California. If so, would you be okay with providing a status update on your application? I filed for an AOS, work and travel permit for my wife on 6/30 but have not seen any progress on any front. She got her biometrics in august but that is about it. Her case status online simply said " we updated your name " on the 90 day mark but that is about it. I am wondering if anyone else in california is seeing the same thing? Please do let me know!

Mine still case/ fingerprint fee received on EAD/AP/AOS. Sent an online service request September 25 and was told to expect a reply by October 17. I wonder if we can submit a service request more than once? But I think I’ll wait until October 17 like they said.

I did SR 28th, called yesterday, got a call back from tier 2 who said I should wait till I get a response as shown on my SR. I have to wait till oct 20.

I was told that I can't submit another service request until 30 days had passed from date of request on Sept 21st. Frustrating not knowing anything.
