Yesterday I finally received my green card! I'm so happy and relieved that the wait is over and that I can work and go visit my family back in Spain!

Received a status update on my case this morning on the tracker that my case was scheduled for an interview. Ironically enough the new DHS website didn't update but the old tracker did.

I have the same question. Seems like almost everyone who has some kind of good news had theirs expedited. I don't remember seeing a July filer who has had an interview without the request :/

We are July filers (NOA-1 July 5th) with an interview Sept 25th. We have not requested an expedite. It's just because Maine is processing AOS applications on like a 50 day timeline from biometrics.

Met in college, reconnected five years later. Started a life together in America. ❤️

11/09/16 - Mailed I-129F for K-1

11/16/16 - NOA-1

02/07/17 - NOA-2

03/06/17 - Medical (in London)

03/30/17 - Visa Interview - Approved!!

04/06/17 - Visa in hand!! 

05/17/17 - Point of entry, Boston

05/27/17 - WEDDING in Maine!

06/30/17 - Mailed I-131, I-765, and I-485

07/05/17 - NOA-1 for all three applications.

09/25/17 - Interview, 485 AOS Approved. Case status changed to "New Card is in Production".

09/28/17 - "Card Was Mailed to Me"; received hard copy NOA stating case approved

We are very similar, filed 7/10, biometrics early august interview on 10/10

We have the same date. Submitted ours last July 5 too. How did you get the info about the processing time? 

 

This waiting time is killing me. :(

04/03/2017 - Pick up our doggy passport for our fur child
04/06/2017 - Arrived in USA!!!

04/24/2017 - Applied for SSN

04/28/2017 - SSN arrived, got a state ID card and opened bank account

06/05/2017 - Passed the DMV test! Yey I can drive. 

06/09/2017- Our Wedding 

06/30/2017 - Submitted our AOS packet 

07/05/2017- Check got encashed and notification that they received our packet 

07/11/2017 - received a text and email for NOA1 

07/17/2017 - hard copy of NOA 1 received in the mail for (EAD, AP and AOS)

08/04/2017 - biometrics scheduled 

08/14/2017 - received update that they are ready to schedule the interview

Can you  expedite AOS even EAD if you have a job offer and can prove/provide evidence? 

 

I am am adjusting from K1! I just want to work and get and get going!

It basically states that AOS from tourist visa will be denied! 

Only if it's within 90 days of entering on a tourist visa. Just wait until day 91.

 

The rule doesn't apply to citizens of 38 countires who don't require a visa.

Was a stressful journey full of ups and downs, cya in 2020 VJ. I'll be back when it's time to begin the dreaded I-751. Biggest advice - make sure you have a TON of evidence, be completely honest and you'll be fine. Good luck everyone! =)

Nope! It seems like most of us that didn't expedite are still waiting to hear something post biometrics. I think anyone going through this process can declare financial hardship in some way, given that you are now taking care of 1 more person on whatever income you have. I'll continue to wait my turn in line though and try to be patient....

I called USCIS today as my EAD has now been pending for 77 days without update much like my AOS and AP. I put in a service request since being past the 75 day mark as stated on their website. I was told that I'll receive a letter in the mail within 30 days, if not to call back. 

 

I'll post again to let others know if this has been in any way beneficial to my case.

Thanks for the info. September 25th is my 75th day for EAD as well as AP and AOS. My field office is taking really slow on processing AOS so I'm just waiting on that part. I plan to call for EAD on the 76th day.

My wife's AOS interview is tomorrow...we are doing the final putting-together of evidence and both getting a little nervous! We will post here on how it went, what types of questions were asked, etc. See our timeline below - we can hardly believe the day is almost here!
