Hey, guys. Biometrics done - I-485 and I-765. My appointment was 2PM but I went to the ASC at 10:30AM. They took me in! 😊 I was there for at least 10-15 minutes. Nothing but an expired passport with maiden name and my marriage certificate and it was not a big deal at all. Finally done in another step! This was in Phoenix, AZ. Good luck on everyone else that will have theirs soon! 😊

Hi everyone.

I am going to be August filer soon. I am glad to see all of your progress in here.

I just have one question for everyone who already filed: did you put the A number in the application or no? My now- husband (K1 holder) has A number written in his passport. I want to know if it's something that can/should be used or no?

Thank you

My wife was a K1 holder and she had A# on her passport as well. Yes, we put her A# on every forms that asked. I think it's better. Good luck.

I have another question. I see many people submit I-131 as well. Isn't it for emergency situations only? Can I submit it if I have travel plans for next year and my husband may not have his AOS approved by then?

Thanks

I-131 is free when you file it with I-485. So I'd say it is so much better to file it as well, just in case you need to travel outside the US before your GC is approved.
