After 13 month, I got my GC interview. But the address on the interview is my old address, even though I had updated my address three month ago. My previous address was with Los Angeles Field Office and my current address is with Los Angeles County Field Office (both are in the same building). I talked to a second level USCIS officer, she said she doesn't see a problem there. Anyone had the same issue? Any thought? Thanks!

How were you able to obtain your mail? USPS forwarding?

I have seen this issue on here many times. When I had my N400 interview they had the very first physical address on file although I updated it. I kept a PO box as my mailing address the entire time so I had no problem retrieving USCIS mail.

I got a copy from the USCIS and also USPS forwarding as well. What happened to your case with the old address on your interview notice? Did they change the date? My Intw is end of September.

I received it in the PO box so nothing got lost. At the interview I requested to have my address changed and I even wrote it down for her. It never got properly updated. Thankfully my oath ceremony notice came to the PO box too so it didn't matter.

Hi guys. I need help. Im getting nervous and worried and anxious. 🙁

I got an RFE for a new medical. I did my Medical. And they have found out that I am TB positive. Now I need to see a infectious disease doctor to further look into this before completing my I 693.  But my question is, how is it gonna affect my Green Card process? If I ever need to go on a treatment? Would they wait for 9 months till clear before the doctors release my I 693? Is my Greencard gonna be delayed? Or how its gonna go? My RFE deadline is only until next month only.😭

Hey guys. My case status changed to Case is ready to be scheduled for interview since March 15th. Question, how long does it usually takes to get an interview notice in the mail after the case status changed?

For us it was about 10 months later. It depends on how busy your local office is from what I understand.

Suggest you post this on the main AOS to get a proper response from people like Geowrian since this group is more limited to just July filers. Hope you feel better.

It seems a lot of applicants have been getting the Case Status updated to "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" (date update in March). I was pretty sure that when I checked last in July, there wasn't this entry, somehow it appeared since late August where it shows "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" (dated in March as well). But then again, it doesn't really mean anything, could be a delay in update of case status, the last when I talked to them on the phone in March prior to move from Yuma,AZ to Philly,PA, I was told that my case is ready to be schedule for interview. Then we filed for change of address in middle of June. Got acknowledgement email in the same month. Called to verify again if the current address on file for my case is Philly address. Now all we have to do is wait for either the status to be changed to "We have scheduled your interview and mailed you the notice...etc" ... OR wait to be surprised by a mail from USCIS out of a nowhere. But never know when. Could be months. Hopefully we both get it soon though, haha. I'll have to prepare to file for renewal of EAD this month since my expiry is in March, I can file 180 days prior to expire.

I had the exact same update as @Ehri&Mark. I'm currently at 13 months and I still haven't gotten an interview notice. When you say 10 months does this count from July 2017? If I have to wait for 13 plus 10 months now I'll go nuts 😁

They asked from the time the case status said “Ready to be scheduled for interview”  to the actual interview was 10 months for us in LA office. It took about a year from the time we filed AOS to green card.

The next status if I recall correctly was Interview Scheduled. And we get notice in mail about a week later. And then the interview date was about a month later. Hope this helps.

My status changed recently as well to March 15/2018 Ready to Scheduale an interview.  I found it confusing because intially my online status stated We are ready to scheduale an interview  as of September 6/ 2017 and then changed to we are booking your interview and now this March date.  I asked why this was changed and did this mean we would have to wait another year.  She stated that depends. Is this a family based
Application?  I asked her explain what a Family based visa application and she stated if you are a parent applying for you child.   Mine is a K-1 fiances visa.  She stated in this case no you did not have to wait another whole year. And even if the date is changed on line they consider your timeline date when they recieved your application if that makes an sense.  Hope this helps.  Don't loose hope!

Just to confirm, my wife's date for Ready to Schedule Interview also changed to a similar date.

That is good to know that it was not resetting the processing priority date for the interviews. At this point, we are 14.5 mo into the wait. It is frustrating waiting, but nothing we can do will push forward the interview. So all we do is wait. At this point, I almost wish it goes to 24 months just to forego the headache of removal of conditions.
