Hello everyone!! I had my interview today al Hialeah, FL office, everything went well, they approved my GC right away. The officer told us that I would receive the GC in about 2 weeks, but now I am very confused because a couple hours after the interview my case status changed to "Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed", and the crazy was that then got TWO e-mail notifications, one saying the same thing, that my case needed further review and other saying that my card was being produced. I got both e-mails at the exact same time. Has this happened to someone else in here? I don't know what to believe :(

No interview or movement in our case since Dec. 21,2017 which the update on myaccount.ucis stated: "we are scheduling your interview."  Just passed a year since we applied for AOS. Going to submit documents to renew EAD/AP soon and ensure that doesn't get messed up in case this delay continues (let's hope not!)

I have read some conflicting reports about medical exams. As per USCIS' own rules and policy, it states K-1 are not required to submit new exams but others on here state you will end up getting RFE'd  at your interview and will have to submit a new one. Just want to know what we should prepare for our future (although not yet scheduled) interview!

ALSO! CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO IS FINALLY GETTING GC AND INTERVIEWS! :D

Hi finding Answers.

Your K1 medical is valid for a year for submission to AOS. Once you file for AOS you essentially reset the clock and have another year it is valid. If your GC/Approval takes greater than a year from your AOS submission then your medical expires. Hopefully this clarifies any questions :) See Below:

4. Validity Period of Form I-693 (Including Use of Prior Versions)

Evidentiary Value

A person seeking an immigration benefit and who is subject to medical grounds of inadmissibility must establish that he or she is not inadmissible on medical grounds. [20] In general, those applying for immigration benefits while in the United States must use Form I-693 to show they are free from any conditions that would render them inadmissible.

An officer may determine that the applicant has met the burden of proof required to establish that he or she is free from a medical condition that would render the applicant inadmissible if all of the following criteria are met:

The medical exam was performed by a USCIS-designated civil surgeon in accordance with HHS regulations;

The medical examination report was properly completed; [21]

The medical examination report was submitted to USCIS less than one year after completion of the examination;[22]

The benefit application [23] is adjudicated no more than one year after the date the medical examination report was submitted to USCIS; [24] and

The medical examination report establishes that the applicant does not have a Class A medical condition and has complied with the vaccination requirements or is granted a waiver. [25]

Congratulations. It’s delivered in a USPS envelope but it doesn’t need to be signed for like an express envelope. The last case update you will get will say it was delivered to you and it provides a tracking number. I believe when status update changes to “card mailed” it will also provide the tracking number.

April 22, 2020 - I-751 sent

April 23, 2020 - I-751 received at Lockbox

April 29, 2020 - Check cashed
??? - didn’t receive text or email confirmation. Ugh!

I wasn’t home for 3 days and it was delivered to my mailbox. It was sitting in there like any other mail when I returned home from my trip. We found the tracking number from the Case Tracker for USCIS app on iPhone (it has an eagle on it). This is where we got all our status updates.

Should get it soon. Took only a few days from “approval” in system to “card produced” to “mailed” to “delivered” status changes.
