I also included a copy of marriage certificate and a copy of my social security card, just in case. Don't forget a cover letter and 1145g form. Send everything to Chicago lockbox. Good luck!

Thank you for the info. Did you include the barcoded delivery mail for the combo card in your packet? Also, where did you send the packets? Is it the same for both EAD and AP renewals? Thank you.

No, I did not include them. At the time of putting my paperwork together, I couldn't find them so I sent the application without those. I used the same address as for the AOS package, Chicago Lockbox, for both EAD and AP. I sent everything in one big envelope. Last week, we already received the notifications from USCIS that they accepted the application and mailed us NOA.

Questions 19 and 20 - yes and yes, I gave the same answers. Regarding Q.15 - I put MSC there, it's abbreviation for National Benefits Center. Dates - I used the date of issue from my EAD/AP card and put Granted.

I am also preparing to renew AP and EAD. I am wondering, is the current form I-765 is the one that expires 02/2018?

 

Also on page 1, number 10, it's asking if I want SSA to issue me a SS card. I should put NO since I already got one. Is that right?

Yes, that's right. It is on the USCIS website and it's still a valid one despite the expiration date.

 

I checked NO because I already have a social security card.

Also, is it true that I can have 180 days extension of AP after the expiration date? Is it safe to travel on that extension just in case the renewed AP isn't processed?

I just received NOAs for my renewal applications in the today mail. To my huge unpleasant surprise, an automatic extension only applies to employment authorization but NOT to advance parole. It is overtly said in the NOA letter: "If your EAD is a combo card, the automatic extension does not apply to advance parole." I am disappointed because I had a trip scheduled for late October and it is clear now that I won't be able to make it. My current EAD/AP expires at the end of September and the processing time for renewal applications is over 6 months.

When you renewed your AP and EAD, how long did it take you to get your NOA1 after filing? I am waiting 10 days now, not sure if that is the norm?

Mailed mine out on 28 May, received text messages and emails from USCIS that they accepted the application on June 1. NOA hard copy in the mail on June 5. 

Just wait couple more days, yours is coming.

Yes, four applications in one envelope - EAD and AP for my daughter and myself.
