80% of I-485 now have bad status update and no data available in the systems per USCIS and has been instructed to just say case is still pending to those.  they have a technical issue recently so a Tier 2 agent could not access the info due to the technical problem.   Told to check status and call back in 30 days.

Yesterday I finally received my green card! I'm so happy and relieved that the wait is over and that I can work and go visit my family back in Spain!

Received a status update on my case this morning on the tracker that my case was scheduled for an interview. Ironically enough the new DHS website didn't update but the old tracker did.

The story is this: they ask for any sort of evidence of joint finances. I have no SSN or ITIN. The absence of those does not allow me to open a bank account.  Also, we still have no any joint taxes. for the same reason.

Next, because my husband is traveling all over USA, we have not get a chance to get a rental contract. He hates visiting his family. So i only have picture of me and his parents, but not us all together. He included me as a beneficiary in his health insurance and military records. I can bring those. What other alternative documents i can provide, so the officer will be convinced its a bona fide ?

May I know why can't you get an SSN? I had mine even before I had my EAD/AP card and even before we got married.

Did you receive your combo card yet because if you did, I think that will help you get the SSN.

Hang in there for those waiting for the update.  I learned these past weeks that the more I wait for it, the more I get anxious and viola, I got my GC today. Praise God!

I registered at the website above and it’s definitely a glitch  as the case status said the same about waiting to schedule an interview on dhs .

Oct 19, 2018 - Scheduled InfoPass Appointment in local field office (Philadelphia), check with Officer why is our interview scheduled at former address, was told we did our part, filed change of address on time, everything in system shows up correct, he has no idea why but told us to go ahead and mail a letter to the interview location field office (Imperial County, CA - closer to Yuma,AZ our former address). Aug 12, 2019 - Interview Date - within 5 minutes of entering the Room, nicely greeted by a very friendly officer, she told us she already liked us by reading our case, she mention it is an easy approve for us (Brought new i-693MedExam as mine is expired). (Day 755) (Day 563) (Day 664).
Aug 21, 2019 - AOS Case Status updated to Approved + Ordered New Card Production. (Day 764) (Day 572) (Day 673). Aug 24, 2019 - Received Hardcopy of NOA 2 Approval Notice for AOS. (Day 767) (Day 575) (Day 676).

Yeah. I had no idea about SSN when I came here and my husband didn't think it's important for a foreigner.. He said we can apply for it when I get EAD. But I have nothing right now. When I realized I need SSN, it was too late

But if you have your EAD/AP card now you can be able to get the SSN isn't?

No interview. I was waiting for it actually. hahaha. I got the approval notice last week saying the card might be delivered on or before May 31 but I got the GC less than a week after the notice.

Yeah... If I had one I would not have that problem. Back in November usps returned my card as undeliverable for no reason and ever since I am waiting

Oh that's a bummer. If you have the notice for EAP/AP approval, try to use to get SSN. I think they will understand that it is not your fault that the card is not with you yet. Can't hurt to try. 

What did uscis say about your ead/ap card? are they gonna redeliver it?

LoL, great for you. Damn, day 269 you got your GC. Imagine for me on Apr 26 it is Day 282 for me including RFE pausing period. Day 90 from RFE Response date. Day 191 after subtracting the RFE pausing period. Yet I heard nothing. Now that my spouse cannot withstand living in Yuma anymore, we have just decided to move by end of May to the East Coast in Philly. Hopefully my case be with NBC until June so that when we finally secure a 1 year lease of a new place we can update the address, and it won't delay much. Otherwise, it might end up having the case in Phx and having to transfer again where it may cause delay.

Oct 22, 2018 - Mailed off the letter to the field office which have our initial green card interview appointment, to request for transfer of case. (Day 461) (Day 269) (Day 370). Field Office Imperial County received our letter on Oct 25. (Day 464) (Day 272) (Day 373).
Oct 30, 2018 - Call USCIS hotline number spoke to Tier 1 CSRep, request to file a Service Request for transfer of our case due to wrong state of residency and jurisdiction. SR filed via phone. (Day 469) (Day 277) (Day 378).
Nov 8,  2018 - Infopass appt with FieldOffice(Philly), verify case transfer. Was told our file has left Arizona since Nov 5, 2018, en-route to Philly. Was told Interview scheduling = first come first serve basis. May delay up to 6-8months. (Day 478) (Day 286) (Day 387).
Jun 14, 2019 - No news on AOS despite being told in Mar19 that we should expect interview scheduled letter, however, after filing 2 SRs of beyond normal processing time for EAD-Renewal - on this date, case status updated to New Card is being produced. (Day 696) (Day 504) (Day 605).

Jul 12, 2019 - Noticed of Interview Prepared and Mailed Out (We did not get any Case Stats Update). (Day 724) (Day 532) (Day 633). Jul 22, 2019 - Interview Letter appeared in our Mailbox suddenly, after I filed for beyond normal processing time a week ago.(Day 734) (Day 542) (Day 643).
Aug 12, 2019 - Interview Date - within 5 minutes of entering the Room, nicely greeted by a very friendly officer, she told us she already liked us by reading our case, she mention it is an easy approve for us (Brought new i-693MedExam as mine is expired). (Day 755) (Day 563) (Day 664).
Aug 21, 2019 - AOS Case Status updated to Approved + Ordered New Card Production. (Day 764) (Day 572) (Day 673). Aug 24, 2019 - Received Hardcopy of NOA 2 Approval Notice for AOS. (Day 767) (Day 575) (Day 676).
Aug 27, 2019 - GC shows up at USPS Informed Delivery shows Expected Delivery Date on Aug 29. (Day 773) (Day 581) (Day 682). 
Aug 28, 2019 - GC arrived a day early than the expected delivery date. (Issued date is 8/21 - best birthday gift ever!!) (Day 774) (Day 582) (Day 683)

Has anybody seen the amount of interviews being booked for January 2018 filers? They're getting scheduled at a rapid rate. There's been three through Philadelphia who filed in January 2018 who have been scheduled for an interview already. Anybody get any idea why this is? We haven't had an update on our case since September.
