According to Visa Journey Timelines here are the total number of I-129F Petitions filed for each of the last 10 months:

Sept. 2016 = 221 petitions

Oct. 2016   = 200

Nov. 2016 =  313

Dec. 2016 =  280

Jan. 2017 =  396

Feb. 2017 =  321

Mar. 2017 =  316

Apr. 2017 =   209

May. 2017 =  168

Jun. 2017 =  104

I'm sure the number of filers for May and June will increase as people who are not yet aware of this forum find out and add their timelines however it does appear that the number of filers has dropped considerably which is a good thing as the less cases the quicker they can be worked. Please keep in mind that very few people who file I-129F's even know of the existence of this forum/website so the amount of cases actually filed with CSC is much greater however I think the stats still give a good overall picture.

Have a great weekend everybody.

note: I'm a May filer.

Timeline

Not sure how accurate is that, since I remember when we saw the data for March, that was around 4,000 petitions, that was a higher number than January and February, for what I recall from their total numbers in scans.

April has around 3,450 petitions, so less than March, but I don't think much less than January or February had.

Fillers keep showing up all the time. The more time they have been waiting, the more likely for them to show up out of desperation that pushed them to search on the internet for some info and support.

Nice stats anyway. I love my data, lol. Just not sure how accurate is to get hopes that might be false based on wrong information. Hoping probability law works and the sample is really representative of the reality.

Yes these are definitely not scans from USCIS and as I stated the number WILL increase as people add to the VJ timelines.

It's just a small representation based upon user input data.

My fiance' and I had our NOA1 (I think) petition approved in January this year but still haven't heard anything from the NVC. We had to apply for a re-validation/extension. It's now July and the NVC and USCIS don't know where our petition is -.- Any one have any experience with this kinda of thing?

Also a bit confused about how the timeline works - for some reason, it won't let me complete a timeline.

The NOA1 is the first notice of action you get from USCIS right after you file your I-129F petition. It is a notification that confirms they received your petition.

When did you file the i129f?

Did you get an NOA2 in hardcopy and when? NOA2 is the second notice of action - approval of the petition from USCIS which usually takes from 3 to 6 months after the NOA1.

As for the timeline, you basically need to go to : edit timeline and write in the dates of the NOA1, NOA2 etc, then submit changes.

Hope you have a solution soon!
