Hi All,

Just wanted to share with everyone, someone I personally know filed recently for I-751 and received 18 months extension letter. This 18 month extension is a pretty new policy and I already see if getting applied to new filers.

Hopefully, we get our new extension letters soon.

Thanks,

MB

Thank you Roel.

I got an email update today so I logged into my USCIS account and saw the updated status.

But when going on the website to "Check Case Status" it's still saying "Case was Received at Your Local Office on April 9, 2018".

What do you mean by this? If you logged onto your account to see the updated status and it says "Case was Received at Your Local Office on April 9, 2018", then where did you see the message about your card being produced - in the email itself? I'm confused.

"Check Case Status" is an option on USCIS website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do), not on the account (login link above). I thought my explanation was clear :)
