Ewh, ewh, ewh.  What do you think?  While its not a good thing, maybe its an RFE, which will lead to an early approval once you submit what they need.  Fingers crossed for good news.....and yes, keep us posted.

I honestly think it could be a letter about my case inquiry about the whole case received at local office. Since it said if u don't receive an update. I put in a case request so his maybe it saying we are still processing your case and that we are in normal processing time. But hey if it's an approval I'll take it.

This is just an image from usps informed mail. I will check later. Does it matter regarding the Hand of State of Liberty?

Yes it does. If you see a hand of statue of liberty, that's Approval. But since you are July 17 filers, I think it might be just a generic response of your inquiry.

Have not receive one. I did a case inquiry where it says by “March 28,2018,  if i don’t receive a letter blah blah put a case inquiry”. I got an answer thru my e-mail not a letter. So prolly the one you received is an approval letter.

I got the same, an email reply saying they are working on 19 months out from today for the approvals they are giving.  It's like it's never going to end.  Is anyone going to go ahead with filing for citizenship this summer?

I'm thinking, seriously thinking, about getting that package ready now!  Maybe that will be faster.

When I sent a case inquiry, they didn’t tell me what month are they working on. They told me about my biometrics. 

 

“On 03/30/2018, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-751 / CRI89 to notify us that you have not received your biometrics appointment notice. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved. 

Thank you for your inquiry regarding an appointment to have your biometric images processed at an Application Support Center (ASC). We are unfortunately experiencing a longer processing period than what is reflected on your Form I-751 Receipt Notice.  Be advised that USCIS may be able to reuse the previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics for some applicants and have their biometrics copied into our systems.  In addition, USCIS can run the same security checks and use the same biometric data as in the past and may not need to schedule an additional biometrics appointment.  However, if a biometric appointment is necessary, USCIS will schedule your appointment electronically and mail the appointment notice to your current mailing addres”

Hi I'm a July 2017 flier, sent my application to CSC then got my application transferred back to a local office here in Fort Lauderdale, FL on Feb 26, 2018. I didn't have to do my biometrics because I received notification that my old one was able to be reused. I put in a case inquiry because I never got a physical notification through mail by March 28th, 2018 about the transfer to the local office (like they mentioned on the website). I got an email 4 days ago from USCIS saying that they are still reviewing my case and there are no updates at this time, but mentioned that the last action taken on my case was April 5th 2018, with no details on what that action is. -___-

How's everyone doing? I still have no updates on my case which I know is still normal. Anyway, @Tcarrol Congratulations on your GC!
