To tell you the truth, our online status still states that our case has moved to another office.  We received approval letter on March 5 and Resident Card yesterday in the mail.  The uscis.gov website is definitely not giving updated information.  Set up an account at the other site: myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov .  That site has tracked us well, although it has posted misinformation also saying that we were denied on an appeal (we were never denied and never appealed anything) and also said it corrected birth dates and name changes; all of it not true.  So, just be careful of what is seen online.  And remember, if you are truly a married couple, you will be approve.  It's difficult to deny an i-751 case without evidence to the contrary.  Everyone will be approved.

what is the phone number u call to get information about ur case transfer to local office? congratulations.! so happy with u.!

In the section : Verify your identity

We need to provide :

I believe you can use either.  Doesn't matter if you are filing at VSC or CSC.  Your 'A number' is just below your receipt number found on your 1-797 notice of action.  It is referenced as " Reference Number".

I did a basic status enquiry about my case because the status said if I did not receive a notice by the 29th contact us. So I did, and they basically gave me the general script that they are in the correct time frame and they are working on January 2017... This system is a joke...

unless you work for uscis or have direct inside info, I'd not believe anything I hear from tier 1 or 2.

DaveNot is dead on!  One needs to be Houdini to crack this.
