Yeah I'm got an email saying the same. But it's not updated on the site for my case

it was automatically generated once every two weeks from dhs.gov site, if anyone is annoyed by such meaningless msg, it can be turned off

Haven't got that email yet. When I check my status I don't get anything except the original message I've had the whole time. This must be their way to try and stop everyone from calling all the time!

So I did send a request since we didn't receive anything in the mail on March 28, filled out the form and they said expect a reply by April 20,2018. You also get an email with a request ID number, we also stated the last action on our file was our Biometrics apt. I used our wac receipt number on our NOA1.

So i checked my email, i received a message from uscis.dhs.gov last march 12,2018 saying 

 

“we are still reviewing your case and therr are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on February 26,2018”

 

then they sent me another one today saying

 

“we are still reviewing your case and therr are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on  AUGUST 3,2017”

 

So two dates are different. I don’t know which is which. Maybe the other one is CRI-89 and the other one is I-751?

We received the same email yesterday regarding our case was still under review, and yet, we were approved on March 1, 2018 and received our approval letter on March 5.  The site www.uscis.gov just doesn't keep up with current information.  It still shows our case under review after being transferred to a local office.   The site at myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov seems to be the accurate site to use.  It had our approval on March 5.  And, today, it showed that our green card was in production.  So, any of you could be surprised with a letter in the mail regarding being approved well before being notified on the web.  Good luck to all of you.

Congratulations!! So did you find out if your case has been rrally transferred to your local office or  not?

We got the approval in the mail on March 5, and the website said we had been moved to a local office on March 4.  The approval letter said we were actually approved on March 1.  So it appears it was a done deal before the online message changed to "moved to a local office".  A side note, when we received the letter, the name reverted back to the original name before marriage.  Our attorneys filed a request to put the name back to what was on the original green card and application for lifting conditions.  We received a letter in the mail today that the correction was made and that a green card would be mailed in 120 days.  The www.uscis.gov website still shows our I-751 was moved to a local office.  The myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov site shows that the green card in in production.  By the way, the letter arriving today was from the Pittsburgh office, which is our local office.  So, these two websites must have different purposes and are filled with misleading information.  Let's hope someone in their Tech Department is sorting everything out.

Mine says on uscis case status online that it was received to my local office on March 5,2018. Then when I checked the uscis.dhs.gov it says Feb 26,2018 then there’s another one Feb 27,2018 - Case was received to my local office.

 

i’m a july 2017 csc filer and i’m not expecting anything anytime soon.  

 

And I checked the processing times for field offices its 21.5 to 46.5 months of estimated range.  I was like so shocked because prolly I’ll wait that long.

 

then i called uscis and spoke to tier 1 to verify if my case was received at my local office and she said yes close to where I live. And i double check if its not in CSC anymore and she said correct. Idk if she’s just reading what on her computer or whatnot

 

Idk if I need to put an inquiry since I did not received any notice by march 28,2018.

I got the "moved to local office". Mine also says "If you do not receive your notice by March 28, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail." Idk if I should contact them, I'm a July '17 filer also

I did. Sent them an inquiry. Waiting til April 20 to hear back

Thanks gc@gc, I know this and so does everyone else who signed up for notifications.  You missed the point.....it's progress
