I-751 July 2017 Filers

Found out there is another link which gives more information.  You'll need to set up an account using your email.  It certainly gives a lot more information, although some of the entries were obvious errors such as "appeal denied" and "name changed".  None of those occurred with us.

 

Our entries were:

July 14 Received Case

February 25 Received Case

February 27 Reviewed Case

March 1 Approved

March 5 This is the date we received written confirmation in the mail.

June 1 Received case

Feb 25 Received case

Feb 27 Received case

 

It says if I have not received anything in the mail by March 29 I am to send a case inquiry....so I am hoping I get something by then.  I am a end of May filer but it was received June 1.

same here... Just wonder why the "first" login doesn't indicate the same info as the "second" one...

I found out this information on another thread "Case Was Received At My Local Office".  There is a lot good information there as well.  I truly believe there was major shift at USCIS to reduce the backlog.  But that's just my opinion.  I am truly hoping everyone will get their approval sooner than expected.

I agree.  And I think the only way of really knowing is making an info pass appointment.  But as my extension runs until August, I am hesitant to make that appointment now.  I will likely do it sometime in May/June (if I haven't heard anything) so I can at least get the stamp at the same time.

went on and created a login and entered my case # on our biometric and both popped up when I added them

If you do not receive your notice by March 28, 2018, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

the second set on our biometrics letter states

We received your case and waived the filing fee

Read the notice we mailed you for more information about how we will process your case

We will begin processing your case and will review it to make sure you have submitted all of the required information and documents. We will let you know if we need anything else from you.

If you do not receive your notice by August 10, 2017, send us a case inquiry and select that you did not receive your notice by mail.

If your mailing address changes, update your address with us.

 

We will soon find out on or before March 28,2018 if cases are being approved. Lets all pray that we all have a speedy process.

Thank you for Tcarrol for sharing this. I created an account on the link you provided and found out the case history. But the thing I’m confused about is that the case number for my I-751 (not the CRI-89) have different dates on link that you shared and on where we usually check the case status which is on the egov.uscis.gov. On the egov case status online inquiry it says my case was transferred to my local office last Marcg 5,2018 and then on the link that you provided it says feb 26 and feb 27 my case was transferred and i dont receive a mail notification by last week of March (i forgot the date) I should send a case inquiry.

Mine is the same. But did you tried checking your other receipt number? The I-751?

The one on my original NOA1 doesn't work, only the 2 on our biometrics works.

From an IT person in our family, we are told that if USCIS had a system that was being upgraded or repaired, (as we know was the case on Sunday, March 4), once repaired, if the system index was in place before the restoration, then it was possible that anyone with changes in the system would have dates changed to the date, March 4.  Again, this is just an opinion.  But if you read other threads on this site, a lot of people got the same message on March 4.

Yes that’s true. And personally I don’t think it’s a glitch. Well I hope I’m right. Because there are people that’s moving forward on there cases.

Yes those are the  two numbers I’m using on the biometrics receipt - the CRI-89 and I-751. And also, try checking the one on your Extension letter.

the one on my original extension letter does not work only the 2 on our biometrics letter worked. Has anyone else been able to get the original numbers on the extension letter to come up?

I checked mine for the very first time on March 5th, using my extension letter WAC#. It said it was transferred to the local office on March 4th...

I haven't gotten that number to work. Only the 2 on my biometrics letter worked. When I typed in the numbers on my extension letter it says cannot be found.
