I too am still waiting ( last called mid December) and my I751 was received end of July.  In regards to INFOPASS, I thought that we don't do that until our extended period is (close to) expiring and still waiting for ROC to be completed?! Can someone confirm?

Also calling local USCIS office ..  is it just calling them and asked if you have been scheduled?

Ugggh, the waiting! I kind of thought INFOPASS was a last resort too, but the Tier II officer I talked to strongly suggested it. However, our local office (Minneapolis) has had no openings for the last three weeks and doesn't  have any projected openings. I also couldn't find a phone number to call the Office and the USCIS 1800 folks told me that the Office don't have phone numbers. Our Office also only works M-Th from 8-345, so it's tricky for us to even figure out when we'd try to just walk in and get biometrics done. That's all I know so far. Have you heard anything?

All that we are and all that will be we dedicate to the One who brought us together

Sorry for the delay in reply. I have been waiting for someone to confirm what I earlier asked .. if we just call up the local USCIS office and see if they have me down or what?

At this moment , all I want is to get this fingerprint business over with and if/when they go through my application , great.

I am a natural worrier so that is not helping plus the fact that my passport expires May 2019 and I worry about how that will go. If /when I get passport stamped as i751 still being  processed, what is going to happen to that stamp / i129(?) visa that is in the current ( or will be expired password) ?? arrgghh

I got an info pass at Minneapolis, and was having the same problem as you. What I ended up doing was installing a Chrome extension that auto refreshes your browser. I set mine to the search for appointments and I got an appointment time fairly quick (I think it was an hour or so, can't remember now). I would try that so you can at least get an appointment. Once I had my appointment I received a letter about 2 weeks after stating that I did not need my biometrics.

Hi C. Higgins,

Could you please give some details on what this Chrome extension is, how to install, how to set up to auto refresh, and how specifically to set up for USCIS appointments?

Many of us know zero about these sorts of things . . . so please don't leave any steps out.  :-)

Thanks a lot,

Leo

I filed the first day I was eligible to file 90 days before the expiration in fact I made sure my wifes paper work arrived in Vermont exactly 90 days before expiration. 2 weeks later we got the letter telling us about our biometrics appointment on August 23 2017 .  Since then nothing

Hey folk`s, im also a July 17, filer.  Sent my front loaded ROC to VCS. They got it on July 31 2017 got my bio metrics appointment letter on Aug 18, 2017. Biometrics appointment done Sept 7, 3017 in Charlotte NC, after that the waiting game begins.

Just to give you updates about VCS process, they are currently in slow mo process with all the immigration reform. You may speak and request for a level 2 officer, which is gonna ask you for a call back time to speak to them. ROC at the moment may take 1 1/2 year for its turn around time this the maximum time frame.USCIS will automatically add additional extention in the event the 1 year extention will be expiring soon. I would immediately call them at least 2 months ahead of time if you think you case hasnt move yet especially if its close to a year.

USCIS Processing center normally upates every 3 months, updates are posted usually on every 30th day of the month. You may request for expedite for processing of your case but only on extreme hardships and events and will have to provide bulletproof documentation. An info pass will be needed to see an immigration officer in person in the event that you need to request an expedited request.

Interviews are normally waived if you have supplied enough documentation on your application. Were talking about bulletproof evidence and completed forms, though an RFE usually gets sent out right away if they need additional documents.

I`m including a link of the current update for VCS Center processing update: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abcLu3fDj-5yhcQ6VcIfw
