It says here that conditional residents applicants and including conditional residents residing overseas WILL NOT RECEIVE an ASC Appointment notice. So that means they’ll just gonna used my biometric and fingerprints that they had in the system. 🤔🤔

 It’s from my I-797 notice of action.

This is only applicable for applicant residing overseass due to spouse or applicant military assignment or government orders. 

This is not applicable for applicants residing in the US.

I don’t think so because it says here those applicant who are conditional residents applicants including conditional residents who are residing overseas. It doesn’t says only for overseas residents.

LOL read carefully dear and understand. Are you residing overseas? Though sometimes they will not send you biometrics appointment if your finger print and photo is less than 12 months the last time was taken, but you should receive letter as well saying that biometrics appointment is current and not needed at this time.

Also, that is the note that I have on my NOA but I got biometrics appointment and done doing it.

Dont get confused on this line " conditional residents applicants including conditional residents dependent who are residing overseas", that is pertaining to one applicant residing overseas with dependent applicant too.

Hi Aqua, you have been misled by the poor grammar of the writer of the I-797.

What's missing is a comma after the word dependents.

 

Only military people and some other government employees and their dependents living outside USA will definitely not have to submit to additional finger printing, etc.

 

However, USCIS has recently seemed to increase the number of non-military applicants who are told by message that they don't have to submit to additional finger printing, etc.

My wife never received her biometrics appointment letter.  We filed her I-751 on July 22, and got her NOA 1 on Aug. 4.  Nothing since.

On Oct. 10, I called the USCS main number, and they put in a service request.  Then, I called back on Nov. 13, and they told me to send an email to the CSC, which I did.  They sent me back an email claiming to be backlogged.  Still nothing.  Has anyone else waited so long (over 4 months) for the biometrics appointment letter?

I'm still waiting. I had one service request and nothing. I guess I will call them again to put another one.

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I sent my I751 in back in early July. The application was received on July 27th and I also received my NOA1 on the same date giving a year extension. I didn't hear from them for over 2 months, and didn't get my letter for biometrics. I made a case inquiry request on the USCIS page and got a NOA2 letter a month later on October 7, saying "USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center for a biometrics appointment". I am currently waiting on the next step, which should be an interview if requested.

I filed on July 2017. Biometric done on August 2017. I called 12/15/2017. I was told that they are working on August 2016 applicants and thanks for waiting. So stressfullllllllll

so they are a over a year behind?! what do we do if our year extension expires before they finish  working on removing the conditional residency?
