My NOA1 date is 07/26 and I also haven't received my bio letter yet. Have you tried calling USCIS? I don't know if I should wait til the 30 day mark from NOA1 or call early.

My noa1 was dated Jul 21 and I received it jul 27. Looking at others who got theirs around the same time, I should be getting my biometric letter sometime last week.  I am FREAKING RIGHT NOW as others got their letter  and appt was last week!!!

I have been trying to reach the USCIS but i am not getting a live person . I am in CA / pst time zone so tomorrow I will have to get up wayyy early to try & call EST time.

Hello cheesecake_A+J! And you are at California Service Center too, great! :) Let's hope! Do you plan on calling USCIS sometime or just wait for now? I'm kind if hesitating whether I should call.

I received my NoA on August 5, 2017 and still have not received my biometrics letter (applied to CSC). I noticed in the CSC July 2017 spreadsheet that no one has received their biometrics letter after 7/29/2017. Is this correct? or it just has not been updated?

I will be out of town next week and I'm afraid that I will receive the NoA when I'm out of town and the biometrics appointment will be during my trip

For those who had previous experience, did you receive any mail/email confirmation after the change of address? Were you able to receive approval letter at the new address?

I changed my address a year before my ROC. I did not receive any confirmation for the change of address other than the copy of the filled out change of address form when you do it online. I had no problems in receiving correspondence from USCIS after that.

True but some people may not be updating the sheet as well.  Looking at the averages(any month this year ), biometrics letter is normally received between 1 -1 1/2 weeks after NOA/ i797.     Your timeline has Aug 25 Bio appt .... I presume that is when your bio appointment is and not when you got your letter because if so, wow you are psychic to know when you will receive the letter. :-)  . Are you CSC or VSC

Right, it is so stressful! I hope you will be able to reach a live person tomorrow.

Well I got up at 530am pst to call  just in case it was like how  CB&FM (?) suggested .. maybe it is EST hours. Same thing, got message to call back between 8a -6pm. I even pretended that I have a rotary phone ( did not press 1 for English) , got same message.

I checked the USCIS site https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us/national-customer-service-center .Monday – Friday

      Alaska    8 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time
     Hawaii    8 a.m. to 4 p.m local time. 7:00 AM to 3 p.m local time
Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands    9:00 AM to 8 p.m local time
Anywhere else in the United States    8 a.m. to 6 p.m local time   ===> this is the majority of us. So local time is whichever time zone we are physically                                                   in   however that does not seem to be the case. If phones are busy , that is the message that should be played.

Guess I will have to try again. USPS can't be that slow unless my mailman is hoarding mail.

Any of you guys had the change of address experience before? We are thinking about relocating. But we are worried that further notices won't be sent to our new address.

For those who had previous experience, did you receive any mail/email confirmation after the change of address? Were you able to receive approval letter at the new address?

Hi :)

We changed our address during AOS, and it was kinda messy...

I submitted AR-11, online,  my husband, as USC - I-865 via regular mail.

Well, despite the fact we both received confirmations and even USCIS web site was updated "our new address has been received"... it was such a "surprise" when 3 months later  my EAD arrived at our PREVIOUS address, along with a Notice of Potential Interview Waiver, two weeks after that.. Both documents finally found me, but just because we notified our local Post Office about change of our address..

Even more :) My son's AOS was filed separately, because he didn't arrive at the same time with me. But it was filed from new address. So, almost 9 months later we BOTH received RFE - his envelope had new, current address, mine - still had old one!!! It was crossed out, actually, and a new current address was written.. by hands:devil:, but still - originally it was going to be mailed with old address on it.

I think, my son's AOS finally made them recognize our new current address...

So, I would recommend  - 1. fill out AR-11, on line, and you should have on-line confirmation immediately.  Also, I received a confirmation via regular mail 2-3 weeks later.

                                          2. Form I-865, for USC. Only via regular mail. My husband got his confirmation also 2-3 weeks later.

                                            https://www.uscis.gov/i-865

                                          3. Notify your local Post Office, about chage of your address. I believe there is a form you have to fill out with your Post Office, and it's valid for 6 months, then you can update this again - if something with your names arrives at your old address, the Post Office will direct it to you to your new address - this is how my EAD and other paperwork from USCIS found me.

                                          4. Try to keep in touch with people at your previous address... Just in case. Let them know you may be still receiving some mails and that they should just let you know..

Good luck!!!

Update: finally (yeah!) got hold of a live person at the USCIS around 840am pst. Did not press 1 for English and pretended to have a rotary phone. Got to the Spanish line ( not sure why) but Tier1 person gave the wait 30 day spiel and then I requested to speak to a Tier2 person. Had to wait about 10mins before the the Tier2 person called to confirm that they have not yet scheduled me for biometrics. Now I know that , I don't have to continue worrying  if my letter has been misplaced.  I don't want to go through all of this (moving/ k1 / aos/spending all this money /  etc) all for naught ( missed appointment).

Hello cheesecake_A+J! And you are at California Service Center too, great! :) Let's hope! Do you plan on calling USCIS sometime or just wait for now? I'm kind if hesitating whether I should call.

Yes, CSC, too! :) I think I'll just wait, unless it is already September and I still do not have any letter from USCIS. I was hoping I will get a letter in the mail today. I noticed that no one with NOA1 from the last week of July has received an appointment letter yet, unless they are not updating it.
