My wife is way overdue in receiving NOA . . . based on gypsyqueen and clmike.

Vermont members gcplease, AB,  CeeMu and CB&FN  . . . have you also not received NOA . . . or have you just not returned to update the spreadsheets?

Leo7777

Well it is good that I bitched here about this, because . . . . her NOA came in today's mail.

It was dated 24 July which was same day VT signed for the FedEx packet.  However it was not received by us until 8 August.  So 15 days either sitting on someone's desk in VT or lost (for a time) in the postal system.

Based on other's dates on NOA it strongly looks like a computer spits out the NOA as soon as our packets are logged in as received.

But no explanation why some receive in mail 2-4 days later, and some take 10 or more days with ours being a record 15 days.

Note that the wording on the NOA has changed.

Previously the wording said 'Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year.'

This led to confusion and different interpretations by some,  including DMV offices.

i.e.  Was it one year from expiration of Green Card or one year from date on NOA?

Perhaps some from the USCIS were reading this forum and decided to make a 'fix up.'

Now  the wording says:  "Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year from the expiration date on your conditional resident card."

Did anyone else notice this on the back of the NOA?

Please note that simply filing an application, petition or request, or having an approved petition does not give the person permission to legally enter the United States.

What the Helsinki ???

the staff who collects biometrics know whether you will get an interview or interview waiver

The staff wouldn't know anything about the next process. You asked if we're receiving any notices after the biometrics and the next process would be to see if we're gonna get an interview or not and if we're approved for the 10 yr gc or not.

I did read that. Probably applies to a different kind of petition.  Like K1 Visa doesn't guarantee admission to the US, still up to the discretion of IO upon entry to the States. They just used the same notes on the back page for all NOA.

I've added it back.  Essentially all I'm doing now is restoring a previous version, then looking through the history to add back people's changes on CSC.

If an admin is the one that is deleting it, many other people would be complaining on other threads as well.  And they'd be deleting both Vermont and California.

If this continues, we can always just create a new Vermont tab/excel and share it in messages only to the accounts that are posting in the thread.

So I love google drives by the way.  It shows the exact breakdown of what happened.  I'm thinking more accident, than troll, but at least we can see who did it lol

4:05 PM:  Someone made several changes to AB's line in Vermont  (please note it may show a different time for you, not sure if it adjusted to your time zone).  Vermont was intact.

4:35 PM:  Someone made a change to CSC.  They added a line.  Line 35.  Typed CSC.  Vermont was intact

4:35 PM:  Next change.  Someone typed lemongreentea in B35 for CSC.  Vermont is intact

4:35 PM:  Next change.  Someone typed 7/11 for lemongreentea in B36 for CSC.  Vermont magically wiped.

4:36 PM and 4:37 PM:  Someone typed the rest of lemongreentea's info.  Vermont still wiped

So it could have been a glitch.  I don't want to accuse lemongreentea of intentionally deleting Vermont lol.  We'll see how this plays out and make changes (different excel, protected excel, etc).  On days I go to work, I don't mind spending 10-15 minutes restoring it while I eat breakfast.

What I'm trying to say - don't worry if you don't have all documents you would want to include in your I-751 packet...

At this point I would prefer to get an RFE  or  be called for an interview rather than to be placed in removal proceeding for late filing...

Great idea, it's being sent out today, do you know if I write a total check for $680 or two separate checks, one for 595 and one for 85..

Hi :) Really glad it's being sent today!!!!.. have been thinking of you :)

Here is the link

I would  send ONE check (filing fee + biometric fee). But I don't think that multiple money orders/checks is an issue... what is an issue is properly making the check/ money order payable to.

GOOD LUCK! And fingers crossed!!! :)

I didn't wipe out VSC info. As you pointed out, I typed in info on CSC sheet not VSC sheet.

VSC sheet was wiped out a few days ago. Not sure if someone restored the info or not, but when I entered my info yesterday, there was still nothing on VSC sheet.

VSC sheet was wiped out a few days ago. Not sure if someone restored the info or not, but when I entered my info yesterday, there was still nothing on VSC sheet.

This is why I think it's more glitch than intentional.  The Vermont data was there when you started entering CSC, but gone when you were out.  But from what I can tell, it was nothing you did that caused it :).  Just a glitch.  Because it does not show it was deleted.  If someone was actually deleting all the data out, the area would be highlighted blue and empty in the revision history.  Instead it's only column A in VSC that's highlighted (where the sums are all different).

Did anyone else notice this on the back of the NOA?

Please note that simply filing an application, petition or request, or having an approved petition does not give the person permission to legally enter the United States.

What the Helsinki ???

That's like a general statement in several NOAs. An approved petition could be a I-130, so having an approved I-130 doesn't give people the permission to enter legally the country. Not until they have a visa on hand.
