Hey CB &FM,

I say do not worry since they cashed their check and received their NOA1 but I am wondering about your case: you really have no way to check if they received your waiver? I ask because, if I do remember well, you are almost at the end of your open-window for ROC, no?

Yes, it is true. The window closed on 21 Jul 2017. I imagine that we can probably make an inquiry after 30 days with no NOA1. Someone else who did the fee waiver also said that she did not get her NOA1 until after 30 days. She also said that they have 30 days in which to review the application for correctness before issuing a NOA1. I believe though that the date of receipt will still be the NOA1 date for the 751 as that is what shows on her timeline. I was inquiring of people who had done a fee waiver as to the timing difference and when I had looked at this person's timeline it did not seem to differ from anybody else's. But then she told me that she did not receive the NOA1 for more than 30 days. ...17 days so far for us from they day that USPS tracking shows packet received. Hoping to hear something soon. But accepting that it maight be two more weeks before we get the first notification. Wish us luck!!!!!

Yes. The NOA1 letter will show a one year extension of your current GC. You must carry both the letter and the current GC to show your proper status.

Hi, mine was actually sent 5/29/17 but I couldn't find a May or June thread.  So about 3 weeks after I mailed I got my NOA letter extending for one year.  My GC expires on 8/28/17, so we applied right on the 90 day mark.  I got my first bio appointment for 7/5 but I was traveling overseas so had to reschedule.  They rescheduled it so quick that I wasn't even back yet, and we wrote a letter explaining I was going for 3 weeks.  We had to reschedule the bio again.  Within a week we got the appointment letter and it was scheduled for 8/7 - today.  It was at 8am and I was out of there by 8.10am.  Now it's the waiting game for the approval or interview. I am hoping we sent enough that an interview is waived.
