I did an early walkin today and I'm done with the biometrics a week earlier. They just took a pic of me and took fingerprints from my 4 right fingers. That it !! Done!! Good luck to everyone!!

Did they question you about your arriving earlier than your scheduled appt?

Mine is scheduled for next Thursday.   I have an dr. appt that I don't want to cancel....you know how doctor's are.  So, I'm thinking about going a day later for mine....it works better for me timewise.....or should I just go this coming Friday instead?

I think it would be better to go early rather than late. You don"t want them to say you missed an appointment and not take you or make you reschedule. If there is any thing like that at the early, you can always still attend your scheduled appointment.

Yah, I was thinking the same.....I bet I'd have a lot of explaining to do with a missed appointment.

Hi,

We filed the form I-751 last Thursday. Here more info:

Green card expiration: 08/08/2017

Sent I-751: 07/20/2017

Delivered: 07/24/2017

From: Texas

Service Center: California Service Center

We prepared for this since I came to US then a bunch of things happened and we ended up filing until last Thursday. I was so nervous that I forgot to take a picture of the pile of documents, put them in a plastic bag and put an elastic band around them. I pray everything goes OK. I'll update the excel file tomorrow.

Seems like it's a "trend" :( that dependents on I-751 don't get their Extension Letter... for some reason.. I have an InfoPass scheduled for Thursday, will try to get NOA1 for my son..or something. Will let you know how it went.

Also,  it's really odd you didn't receive your ASC appointment, but girls - did.. Sometimes, yes, it can be scheduled on different days, for a parent and a pendent.. But very often it's the same day, even the same time... So, probably, try to contact USCIS?.. to make sure you are not missing your biometric appointment.

You can try to call this National Customer Service Line

800-375-5283

but people you will get on hold first won't be really helpful, especially when there is no Receipt # which is the case.. So try to reach a Tier 2 IO (which is really a pain), who could check something, using your A#... Other than that  - there is really nothing you can do for now..

Also, they have 30 days from the date the package was received. But I remember your story,..  so if everything is fine - they have 30 days.  If it's meant to be returned - it can take about 3-4 weeks (month)  as well before you get it back..

So technically you are just on hold until Aug.11... Sorry about that..:(

I read that several here have already gotten Bio appointment date.

Looking at the Google Spreadsheet, several filing at California have listed their Bio appointment date.

But no one from Vermont group has listed a Bio date.

Is this because no one from Vermont group has received Bio date . . . or because they haven't updated the Spreadsheet ??

I am one of the first (7/6) and still waiting for my Bio date. So, I suppose the others are still waiting. I hope an update for this week :)

Ho wow THAT was very close... and I thought I was good for procrastinating, I found my master here !

Her is the "steps" how I've reached a Ttier 2 .. or at least someone "alive" to speak with

1. Call 1 800-375-5283

2. Yes, press 1 for English.

3. DO NOT press 2. You don't have your NOA1, plus - even if you had, the system wouldn't not recognize that anyway. It needs to be your ASC Notice Recipe # . So, listen to the end. There will be an option, the last one before "repeat "  - for any other questions press star key. This IS your option.

3. After "long robot speech"  press 4 "to reach services for LPR"

4. then 1 - again  "to reach services for LPR"

5. press 3, then 2..

Usually after that "a human" picks up the phone. They are contractors and don't have a real access to your case. Just let them know that you didn't receive anything, and the only way to check if there is something scheduled for you - to use your A#.. e.  After that,  if you are lucky enough, you can ask them to transfer you to a Tier 2 Immigration Officer due to your certain circumstances... Sometimes it works and you get transferred, sometimes  - does't. Very often it works after numerous calls - depends on a person who answers you first...

It's so frustrating to not know what's going on and where you are AT....

Wish you all the best!!!
