#######... just got back from vacation to some bad news... somehow, in my countless hours of compiling paperwork and feeling like I sorted through 50 million pages to send a perfect packet, my package was returned in the mail to me because I wrote the check out for $5 short :( No clue how I could have possibly done this, but my hubbys visa expires on 7/30. I sent it back out today overnight, but we could really use some prayers on this. I'm so afraid it's not going to get processed in time :(

Oh no! It could happen to any of us. You spend so much time checking and re-checking every single line of every single document that sometimes it's easy to miss the most obvious things. I remember panicking at one stage after mailing a packet because I was convinced I had forgotten to put our specific apartment number in the address line on the forms (it turned out I hadn't forgotten but I was dead sure I had). Are you filing through CSC or VSC

Hey guys just received the NOA1 in the mail!!! However, our check was not cashed yet. Do you guys think it was waived because I am a member of the military?

Wife sent in I-751 packet today, July 22nd.

Federal Express

78 pages, 14 ounces.

$22.00 for delivery by noon on Tuesday, July 25th.

Filing in Vermont.

Despite paying for Tuesday delivery, our packet was actually signed for in Vermont at 11:45 AM today, Monday.

So we got delivery that would have cost $49.00 if we had asked for delivery by noon today!!

Based on what others wrote, their computer system seems to automatically spit out the one year extension letter almost the same day they get the packet.  So likely the one year extension letter will arrive here at our house the end of this week.

This is assuming we didn't make silly error . . . and instead get our entire packet mailed back to us !!!!

I read that several here have already gotten Bio appointment date.

Looking at the Google Spreadsheet, several filing at California have listed their Bio appointment date.

But no one from Vermont group has listed a Bio date.

Is this because no one from Vermont group has received Bio date . . . or because they haven't updated the Spreadsheet ??

Hello guys!

I just sent my i-751 file ten minutes ago... I am quite nervous since there is just one month left for me (8/7 is dead line, so exactly one month left ^^)... yeah, procrastination can be a curse sometime! ^^

It's seems this is a new game of patience, so let take time to know each other since we are on the same boat for one (?) year :D

One month? Wow. We are cutting ours close. Just filed last week Tuesday, 18 July. Sent priority and tracking has it arriving 20 Jul. Conditionla Greencard expires 21 Jul. Whew!!! Just in time. I think sometimes we are crazy especially considering our country"s current immigration climate. But it is in. Yayyyy.

My biometrics appointment was scheduled for Monday, July 31. I am planning to do early walk in tomorrow or Wednesday since I am leaving town for vacation on Friday. If I do it before my scheduled date do I still need to send request to reschedule or no ?

Only 2 years have gone by & somehow I forgot how stressful putting things together can be  can anyone tell me where I might find my USCIS Online Account Number!? I don't remember ever having one...

You may not have had one. It is only given if you had an online account and filed online.
