Thanks for checking.  We are day 277 (WAC17277005xx) and nothing has changed since Feb.  But glad to see some approvals are happening.

We were WAC1727500xxx and we received our green card in the mail today after receiving a text on 10/5/18 that it was approved

So, I just got off the phone with USCIS Customer Service. My case WAS supposedly transferred to my local office (Albuquerque) on Feb. 24th; and I received that case status update way back then.

Albuquerque apparently has a 23 - 41 month wait time. They are currently looking over May 2015 cases. --edit: I just found online that this is NOT for Albuquerque, it's an average of all field offices. Ugh.

The customer service agent was a pure robot - reading off the exact same thing I'm able to read online. She spoke so quick I had a hard time understanding her (and English is my mother-tongue).

This is super disheartening. :crying:

I agree with Janet&Adonis - make a service request.  I have begun tracking case number close to ours.  A few days ago, one case status was exactly like ours - "Case was received at my local office." and now today, this case is approved.  So if your case status is the same as ours and many others -  "RECEIVED" at your local office - then this does not mean a huge delay.   But go fo the service request.  I will do the same if we do not get approved soon.

Let us know if the filing the service request produces some useful info.  BTW, our case number is WAC1727700xxx and we were pretty patient until a few weeks ago.  Good luck!

How You Will Be Affected If We Transfer Your Case

If we transfer your case, we will send you a transfer notice. Your receipt number will not change, and the transfer will not delay the processing of your case.

I haven’t heard a word...I did get the 18-month letter the day before my original extension letter expired, so I guess that was one bright spot. No transfers for me and no updates since the mass “we last took action on your case” glitch in February. I filed my N-400 in June too though so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Did you file for citizenship?

No, not yet.  Was waiting for several reasons one of them being a loyal Canadian.  This is the struggle.  The 10 gc, not.  I know it will come.

I'm in the exact same spot as theanswerisdance with exception that I haven't filed N-400 yet. Haven't heard a thing since the glitch transfer notice online in February. Once in a while I get the email update that says there is no news.

It's easier to be patient when none of us were getting approvals, but the more I see coming from CSC, the harder it gets! Also getting annoyed with how many people in my life tell me I should get a lawyer to "make it go faster" 😒

Agreed.

A lawyer will not make things go any faster,  they will however make you broke.  Tell your friends to make a 'go fund my lawyer account' so you can, and pocket their gifts.  😁 😉

I feel your pain. I didn’t do it happily and I’m doing some of the oath modifications on religious grounds which made it slightly easier to stomach. But at the end of the day I just wanted USCIS off my back and out of my life forever. My husband’s Canadian PR was approved this year though so that made up for it!

You've piqued my curiosity.  Guess I have some research to do this weekend.

Thanks for sharing and I'm happy he got his PR in Canada so quickly.
