Have you heard anything yet?  Was your app transferred to Texas like mine?

I haven’t heard a word...I did get the 18-month letter the day before my original extension letter expired, so I guess that was one bright spot. No transfers for me and no updates since the mass “we last took action on your case” glitch in February. I filed my N-400 in June too though so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Did you file for citizenship?

Any news from my Canadian peeps?

I'm in the exact same spot as theanswerisdance with exception that I haven't filed N-400 yet. Haven't heard a thing since the glitch transfer notice online in February. Once in a while I get the email update that says there is no news.

It's easier to be patient when none of us were getting approvals, but the more I see coming from CSC, the harder it gets! Also getting annoyed with how many people in my life tell me I should get a lawyer to "make it go faster" 😒

Where is Sejlatie? Do you have any news ? I’m still waiting.

Can anyone explain to me why on uscis website showed the day they are working is June 1, 2017 (VSC) , but we still see July or Aug got approved ? I don’t understand. I saw mostly CSC filer moving , VSC likely gets stuck in one place, especially EAC17276.

I know that we shouldn’t think of it much, enjoy our life (working, hangout, shopping, family, travel...) but I sometimes get tired of waiting. You know that to get 10 years GC in the past only took 3-5 months. Now we have to wait 4 times like that.

Everyday is a hope !!

Don't. Pure BS. If a case is 'straightforward' there is no need for a lawyer. They can't do anything to speed up a process at USCIS.

Don't bother to understand USCIS timeline. It's constantly changing, going back and forward. There is hard to get a real pattern

I wouldn't.. especially at this stage  (obviously!). That's the annoying part, I know that wouldn't matter at all and no matter how often I tell people that, they keep saying it. I work and know quite a few people on work visas and they all seem to think that Lawyers are magical or that there is a different queue for people filing with lawyers. Not sure what makes them think that though

I am confused sometimes but I know it’s hard to get exactly USCIS timeline. Just imaging it looks like waves motion: going back and forward 😬😳

Still have received nothing since last update 9 April 2018.  My wife's extension letter expires on 28 October 2018. EAC17298 Vermont 25 July 2017   We have an INFOPASS appointment on Monday 15 October 2018 at 12:00 pm in Pittsburgh, PA.  Will be asking them lots of questions on what is going on to take so long. Alas I already know the answer.  Will also attempt to speak to them as a fellow hard working Federal Employee to another hard working Federal Employee instead of a pissed off husband who is holding back what he  really wants to say.
