I think they're talking about the status that shows on the egov.uscis.gov  site vs the one you get from the myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov. Mine are different and I don't know why :(

Yes you are correct! My personal USCIS account gives a different update sometimes. But both still in local office status right now. 🙁

For me, the egov one says my case was received but the myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov one says fees were waived.... weird thing is I paid for my fees and did not apply for them to be waived so I really don't know what's up with that. UGH I really wish USCIS would get their sh!t together

Well that is interesting, the same thing for me. Did you check your bank if it was taken out of your account? I called USCIS before and the agent said it was a glitch 😂

after you filed i-751, uscis created cri-89 for you,  fee waiver is for cri-89, which you didnt pay

right? haha those tier 1 calls are a joke. I don't blame the agents cause they have no training and know very little about immigration in general (though the think they do) and they're fully trusting the same site we can access by ourselves. Calling T1 is really no different than going to the site and trusting your own interpretation of their cryptic statuses.... and I bet we have more knowledge than they do HAHAHA. The one to blame here is USCIS, more specifically Cissna who is systematically trying to collapse an already broken system.

Except that I DID pay.

nope, you paid for your i-751,  you never paid for cri-89

Ok so this is confusing me. I called the tier 1 from USCIS Customer Service and they said that the fee waiver for CRI-89 is the same thing as the fee waiver for I-751. I did ask her if it is different. She clearly said, it was the same. I researched and Google said CRI-89 is registration fee.

on your i-797, there are two wac or eac numbers, one is for i-751, the other cri-89

if you checked that number for cri-89, it shows fee waived

I also noticed that but the agent said, I will only see the fee waiver if I applied for it. I didn't apply for either of the CRI-81 nor I-751.
