I just can't wait for the day we have a president in office with an immigrant spouse who had to deal with USCIS, go through the limbo we're going through and put actual work into making USCIS less of an inept burocrat. OH WAIT... nevermind...

Haha. I mean cheating cause even when immigration is a privilege and I do feel very grateful to have a chance, we ARE paying for these oportunities. All of them, from the very beginning, K1s, AOSs, EADs, APs, ROCs, N-400s, etc. To me, the excuse to the backlogs being too many applications being filed is pure bullshit. Well guess what? more applications means MORE money, so why not invest it wisely and expand infrastructure, hire more people, create jobs?? We as immigrant applicants are actually financing a lot of jobs for americans. Yet we get treated like sh!t by a semi private company who does not refund our fees when THEY fail or make mistakes to our applications. Not to mention the outright theft of money when people pay for the fingerprints fees and later are told they don't need them cause they old ones are still current but "there will be no refund of the fees"..... Good job USCIS!

Ok rant over.... sorry guys... just needed to get it off my chest. Thank you for being my support group

I agree 110%

they can make us wait all they want, but they can't delay the application past the processing times. Did you know you can actually sue USCIS? https://hackinglawpractice.com/blog/when-uscis-tells-you-to-sue-them-you-sue-them/ It might be the only way out if they don't bother with your case well past the processing times. And you will definitely get citizenship before the November 2020 elections. Pushing back legal immigration is a terrible idea, considering most of us will be citizens by 2020 and we will know exactly who not to vote for.

You guys, I'm still shaking and crying but I just received the greatest news...
I received a text alert and e-mail that says there was an update to my case, I kept myself together til I checked the online tracker and there it is showing "New Card Is Being Produced".

NOA date: July 25th
Filing Office: VSC Case
Number: EAC17298
Didn't get an interview, haven't filed for n400 either.

I hope people will receive the same great news soon 💖🙏🙏🙏
