Case transfer to Texas.

Looks like CSC is still shipping them out.

My question is....why are cases after mine, getting transfer dates and notices before me?  Like, aren't these applications supposed to follow a date protocol?

Not really because the cases are assigned to officers. One might be slower than the other when making a decision :P

They shouldn't do it like that. They should have like a general "pile" of cases that the officers go to fetch whenever they're done with the case before. That way they assure situations like mrs tbh's don't happen. USCIS says they process cases on a first come first served basis but I call bullshit on that. Can't wait to be done with this awful cheating institution.

I feel you! That is why you see some August filers get approved before July and etc. They should be processing one by one but when one is slow, it i just slows down everything. Why when I looked at the timeline yesterday, VSC was working on May 28 cases and now they are back to early May? Because they have a weird system and don't track things properly. They once lost a copy of my marriage cert and issued a RFE, which again, slows things down. I understand, things happen but it happens way too often.

I get that but I'm the 7th of July and I believe others around the middle of the month received notices prior to mine.  There are tons of cases in between....I just don't buy it.

Hey, I don't buy it either but you know.. why don't you give them a call? I would act 'stupid' saying that I have an upcoming trip overseas and ask how it is at the border etc. and ask them if they could send an inquiry to the processing office asking for a detailed update, or ask them if they can check within the system what's happening. 🙂 Won't hurt but can help?

If you ask their official stance on what you just described to USCIS, they will bluntly respond immigration benefit is not a right but privilege to stay in this great country and seek employment with stoned faces.

All i can say is... I'm not avoiding poop because it's scary and daunting but it's just dirty.

I feel you so just hang on. Hopefully when all immigration petitions are electronic like n400, it might be much easier to adjucate on first come first served. Good luck on your journey

I just got my 10 year in the mail today. Last week to my surprise I got a mail from USCIS stating they lifted the restriction and didn’t require for interview. I called to verify and it was indeed approve as of 09/20/2018. The website didn’t have any update at all other than they waived the fee.

Thank you very much. For those of you that are still waiting it will take time I just didn’t stress myself about it no more and I didn’t do calls to USCIS. Your green cards will come provided you don’t have any problem with your documents.
