I got the EXACT same thing.

Basically said a new office has jurisdiction on my case.

I am led to believe this is to help with the backlog of files for CSC. However, i am concerned that by moving my case to a different office that somehow it will put me to the back of the queue?!?

To confirm this is what I received Friday (I am a CSC filer).

Have you received any sort of other written or electronic communication explaining the move, as noted in the new alert? Just curious as for the exact reasoning, but am almost sure it will just be a generic form letter about the current backlog. CSC filer as well, but no new movement on my end as of today.

Nothing in writing as yet, but will be sure to update you.

Someone in the June thread said it means an approval is nearing. I've read others that say it means an interview is due. And others that says its to help clear the backlog. So who knows!

What I will say is that it seems to be in timing with all those new people who are now filing and need to file to a different location, which is why I feel its just to clear the backlog. Will be interesting to see how/if my timeline differs for anyone else who has not received this.

@jfbjfbjfb did you file for your N-400, if not it's definitely a case transfer to alleviate the processing workload at CSC

I did not file for my N400.

DO you think you keep your place in the queue?
