To all of you July 2017 filers, know that the processing time to receive the NOA is approximately 1-2 months from when you sent your package. The bio are usually 1-2 months after the NOA, the response from USCIS after the NOA (either RFE or approval) is now at 13-14 months from the approval. July 2016 filer here still waiting to hear from USCIS. I got my infopass appointment and got the I551 stamp a week ago. Good luck all!

Sent our packet yesterday to CSC..Hoping for another fast and smooth processing!

Good Luck! How many pages was it?

Our packet was received today at the California office.  Hopefully our NOA will arrive just as quickly as other members' notations.  Once we get the biometrics done, we're all in for the long wait; but at least we can complete the citizenship process next year and be citizens by Christmas 2018.  Best wishes to all of you!

Just wondering if anyone else can shed some light/their interpretation of this part of the NOA...

"NOTE: Conditional resident applicants, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas pursuant to military or government orders WILL NOT RECEIVE an ASC appointment notice. To complete biometric processing, these applicants must submit the required items listed on the I-751 form instructions."

If there was just one extra comma included in that above paragraph, I wouldn't really have any confusion or concern, so maybe it's just USCIS's terrible grammar, but does this mean we will or will not receive biometrics appointment notices?

You can start the process to become citizen about this time next year.

But I doubt you can complete it next year.

It's backward this time.  You are the petitioner wishing for your conditional gc to be removed.  It is confusing, I agree.

And as for the evidence, there's a billion ways to interpret what's needed.  Follow your gut on what you think is enough.  There's overkill, then there is overkill!  If you read up on the guides...specifically the I 751 by cookie cat and june 2017 filers you should get enough info on what you need to include.  Personally, I did not inundate USCIS with overload.  I'm about quality not quantity and work by the premise that sometimes less is more.

Thank you! Cookie Cat's post was very helpful but my package will be quite simple compared to theirs lol. I just finished my cover letter & am hoping to print pictures tomorrow morning so I can get this sent out by Monday. The correct fee is $595 + $85 for biometrics, correct? Should I do 2 separate money orders or just one? My entire package is just the money order, completed I-751, photocopy of permanent resident card, photocopies of our son's birth certificate, shared car insurance, apartment lease, shared bank account & a statement of my health insurance through my husbands employment. Oh & of course family photos + a few extra of our baby hehe :D I'm hoping this will be enough!

One money order/cheque for the total of $680.  Your package sounds fine.  I did not front load it with what I felt was overkill. You have a child together....which is sound evidence you are not going to bust soon after your 10 gc arrives.  Money orders are trackable, just as a cheque so this is helpful when checking to see that your I 751 arrived and is in the right hands.  Most people have sent it USPS with signature just for piece of mind.

One more question...   Should I write my A# at the top of every page in my packet? I think I remember doing this 2 years ago...

I did not.  I think this applies only if you are adding additional pages to the I 751 application.  I do not recall others stating they did this.  Yes, I recall us all doing it for the IR1 process.  I think part its different.  But, if it gives you piece of mind, then do it.  From what I understand, all our documents are scanned into a system now, therefore reducing lost papers and mixed up files.

Wills and Medical Power of Attorney should be included in all submissions.

These are some of strongest proof available to show your commitment to each other.

And . . . it makes common sense to do it for every married couple . . . regardless of immigration concerns.
