Is there anyone here whose status updated from "Case was received at my local office" on april 9,2018 to some other date like "Case was received at my local office" on July/August xx ? I wonder if these cases are put on the backstack since I have seen this happen quite often lately. Has anyone seen that happen in the past and still got approved real soon?

Hi Everybody! I have an NOA for I-751 dated July 2 2017. Still haven't seen my 18 month extension letter that everyone here seems to be getting. My one year extension expires on 09/15/18. Any idea if its realistic to wait for the new extension letter?

CSC filers are now receiving the 18mth extension letter so, yours is potentially in the mail. They are dated 8/11/2018.  Good luck

I have seen quite a few switching with the same status with later dates than April 9,2018. Not sure if its a good or a bad thing. Also, what's your priority date?

I see lots of July filers getting their 18-month letter. My husband's case was received on July 25, 2017, and we haven't heard anything. Anyone else?

Mine was received July 25, 2017 in Vermont.  We had our biometrics on August 24, 2017 and at that time received an extension letter 3 weeks later.  Still waiting to see what happens this time .  We will have to use the Pittsburgh office if we need to get a stamp

We filed ROC on 7-3-2017.    Have not received the new extension letter.   Original letter expires on Sept 20, 2018.

Husband went to Nashville today for the I-551 stamp.  No issues.  She was very nice.  Gave him back his green card and original extension letter.

Also said it will be "a while" until he gets the 10 yr green card. Sigh.

But overall, happy he has the stamp now for travel.   It is good for a year.
