Just out of curiosity, has anyone else noticed the perpetual roll back of progress at CSC according to the processing times website? What was (only yesterday) showing progress into early - mid December of 2016 for application processing has been, for a second time, rolled back to November 28, 2016 as of this post.

It appears as though the processing times have gone up, yet again, from 18-20.5 months to 18-21 months.

In all honesty I know those trackers are at best an estimate, but after watching these processing times arbitrarily get rolled back to November 2016 for a second time in a few months, I am really not even going to bother checking it anymore. Here's hoping more of our cohort get approved, both at the CSC and VSC.

@Trenz it's funny you mention that, I was just looking at the 'official' processing times on Friday and was like

"WTH". It's grossly inaccurate and only serves to prevent folks from filing SR saying that their case is pending. Based on VJ, Feb/Marc/April filers are getting approves.

Sad, but there are still a lot of  October-November 2016 fillers, waiting for their approval, so who knows....

You are right @Ksenia_O , A lot of them applied for their N-400's and are hindered by their local field office processing times. A couple of others have RFE's , I still think that the bulk of folks from Oct/Nov have been approved though.

Well, this is what I have been tracking it down once per month to estimate USCIS trends and subsequent analysis. You can tell it was slightly rolled back. While USCIS requires all honesty for every application, they do not treat applicants with honesty and transparent policy when it comes to how, who, when, where, what, and why it takes such a long time. All different policy depending on who you met, where you could make an inquiry, and when to request additional evidence causes distrust. What's even worse is nothing will be unlikely to be changing and just hang it tight.

We're July 2017 Vermont filers who received our NOA1 dated 7/25/2017.

Our one year extension expires on 8/26/2018.

On 4/9/2018 we received that notice that many others received that April that our case file had been touched;

Just recently on 8/4/2018 we received an *email* from uscis.gov stating that "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time" and that "We last took action on your case on 7/21/2018."

However checking our last receipt number on uscis.gov still shows the 4/9/2018 event as the last action taken on the file.

Having seen reports here of some early July Vermont filers having already received their 10 year cards I am hoping this apparent movement on our file is indicative that they are actively working on it now and a decision is forthcoming ... I was curious if any else had any additional insight?

We currently have an infopass appointment scheduled on 8/13/2018 to get the I-551 stamp (we are traveling abroad in late september) but now I'm thinking about pushing that appointment back a bit to give the approval a chance to happen first.

Cheers!

Hi everyone. I filed for ROC on July 3rd 2017 (VSC). While my case is still pending, I received another extension letter in the mail today extending my Green Card for 18 months. Below is an excerpt from the letter. Just sharing the info.

nope false alarm. They do that to people often.I got an update on July 30 that my case has been touched and when I went online it said case was received by local office on July 30 instead of the usual April 9 2018.I got my infopass stamp for another year.It means nothing, the system is auto generating messages when someone just touches or moves your file, doesnt necessarily mean an approval is coming, can be either or.Just hope we all get approved within a month or 2

VSC is popping them out again.  June and July filers are getting their cards again....there seemed to be a bit of a pause there.

I'd keep the appt and cancel should you get notice of approval . A lot can happen from today til the 13th.  They'll give you the stamp as you are so close to the extension letter expiring.

You'll have a lot to do last minute prior to your trip so I say do that infopass appt now.
