not true.. when you are a permanent resident you need to file the AR-11 regardless if you have a case pending or not...

and to the OP, you also need to file the I-865 form (Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address) this you can only do by mailing in the form...

Incorrect. AR-11 is *always* filed until the immigrant naturalizes to US citizenship.

Don't forget I-865 if the USC Sponsor/spouse has moved as well.

You can update the mailing address when you start a new petition or application (like I-751 for example).

oops, or, what Marilyn just said. ;)

We are about to remove the conditions on my wife's PR. I work as a software consultant and travel a lot for work.

Our house is in NJ. But during the summers when she has off from college she lives with me where ever I am working. For example, we lived in Indianapolis one summer and now have been living in Louisville since May of 2006.

Should we have filed an AR-11 each time she moved even if temporary since our primary residence is in NJ?

Regards,

Steve
