Good day to every good soul that are outta here to help. I and my spouse got married some months ago and she is filling for me based on the I 130 immediate relative. The forms are quite exhausting but we filled the most part already since we couldn't afford a lawyer fees. But , the problem is, her tax income isn't sufficient to petition the I 864 form for me, so a friend of mine with good income is helping as joint and only sponsor ! But , my friend filed tax jointly with his wife. He gave me most needed document already like 1040 n w 2, so the question is; does he and his wife have to fill the form I 864 and I 864 A ? And if yes,  does the wife has to submit all back up document like citizenship n Co , since the husband gave me his already ? Or can I just use the husband individual income and how can I go about that ?? Pls your opinions and ideas will be so appreciated. Thanks

If the husband makes enough money to cover you and his household, the wife does not need to fill the i864A. Only the husband needs to fill the form i864. You must however submit their 1040, the husband's W2 AND the wife's W2. If you do not include her W2, you will get a checklist. You do not need any document from the wife other than her W2.
