Hi everybody, I've got a question.

 

How can we know what our scan date is? the NVC received our case on May 28, 2017 and they received our documents on June 23, 2017.

The date they told you they received your documents is considered your scan date

I would suggest filling it in electronically then printing and signing with black ink.

This is normal that you're having problems filling in certain spots on the i-864 (AOS) form. Really annoying.. We've all been through it.. But understand that if you do not fill it in electronically, the NVC could refuse your AOS form or say "incorrect version" etc..  Fill in as much as you can electronically. If you notice the barcode not changing not on the bottom as you add or change text, then you know it's not working..  Whatever fields you can't fill in electronically, do by pen... Write none/na in all empty fields and include all pages.. Make sure to read the i864 instructions in detail.. Many questions can be answered by reading those.. I suggest reading them while filling out the form..

In compelting the ds 260 they are asking for the exact date I started working at a place ten years ago. I can guess the month but I have no idea on the day. Any insights on how to deal with this?
