Hey everyone!

Ok so im trying to compile my paperwork. I have all the needed documents im just a little confused... I got the barcoded document cover sheet in my welcome email. Should I print it twice and put one at the start of my AOS package and one at the start of my IV package? I was trying to find a solid answer online and now im just more confused. People were mentioning a barcoded AOS sheet... I literally have nothing along those lines! Apart from the barcoded document cover sheet is there ANY OTHER barcoded sheet im supposed to include?

Also... I thought we needed to supply 2 passport size photos of me (the applicant / beneficiary) which is signed and dated on the back including case number. This isn't mentioned on the document cover sheet... I mean I already have the photos so I'll include them anyway but im just curious!

Thanks in advance to anyone with some advice

It took about 4 business days for them to "scan" my mail in Once I sent it. I guess it does matter where you are sending from though.

Any idea why does it seems like an average amount of weeks from CC to Interview date is 6 or 7 or more?? Am I missing something? I thought NVC was scheduling interviews one month ahead..? Also talked to NVC rep today and he told me they finished scheduling interviews for August and I should be expecting to have mine in September. I wonder if that's correct or not..

If you just got cc then yes it's probably correct they schedule within the first two week of each month for the following month. So August interviews would have been scheduled roughly the first two weeks of July. Also it depends on your country and how many slots are already full. Some wait longer than others.

Not needed, just need to include the checklist one with the barcode /case number on top of your pile of documents. :)

Used to be the case, but now the NVC just takes copies of everything including not needing an original photo.. You'll need a photo or two when you to go to your interview. :) Your interview letter will explain what is needed when you get to that point. For example, for France, they're just asking for 1 photo.. Although we're bringing 2 just in case..

To everyone, you don't have to wait for your ds260 to be paid before mailing out your NVC package. And you don't have to complete it before sending it out either. In fact I completed my ds260 the day after the NVC confirmed receipt of my documents.

Received the welcome email and was able to pay IV fee this morning. Exactly one week since submitting choice of agent and paying AOS. Time to send the paperwork off! :D

Awesome. :) Once the welcome letter comes in, that fee opens up. :) And the NVC is able to approve the ds261 over the phone.
