Amazing! Thanks very much :)

I can see that you were able to pay the AOS fee a few days after submitting choice of agent. So I imagine I should just keep checking the CEAC page for when the fee becomes available over the next few days.

I also notice you filled out the ds-261 but then called the nvc a few days later? do you mind me asking why you needed to call?

Yes, you want to call so that they can review it over the phone, this can save you 3 weeks.. not every NVC rep will do so, but keep on calling until you find one that will.  "just say, just calling to see if you received my ds-261, wanted to make sure everything looks ok with it"  FYI- Petitioner is the American, beneficiary is the intending immigrant.

Make sure you read all the posts I've posted above to find useful information. Also read the first post and click on all links as there is very useful info in those. :)

You can also call yourself. :) You can use google hangouts to call for free. I gave the NVC number and additional apps to make free calls to the US on a previous post.

Great! So if i wanna confirm they received the ds-601 I assume I would do #3 check mail? Although it's not really mail?

you can also request the fee in advance ? Like AOS or IV??

yes...

you would need an invoice number to pay fees, so wait until NVC generates it for you...
