I have a question for you guys.. I'm petitioning for my wife cr-1 visa her interview is in Juarez august 4 when we sent all the papers to nvc I didn't make a copy of I-864 I didn't know I had to but my question is if they didn't ask me to take it to the interview should I worry? I don't want to make a new for fear of having different numbers on it since I don't recall what exactly I wrote in it.. thanks in advance

They require it at the interview but the weird part is the lady in front of me didn't need hers they didn't ask for it , when they asked for her paperwork but they did ask for mine. They asked her for her taxes but they didn't ask me for mine. So it may just depend on the case what they ask you for? But it is required of you to have it at the interview. The lady in front of me had an identical case cr1 married less than two years, looking for a green card. They were both from the same province of Quebec he was from Wisconsin and I am from Maine.

Hi here are the search results for "copy of i-864" Def advise using the search feature before posting anymore questions.

If they need a new I-864/AOS form, you can fill out a new one while you're there. It's not a big deal. No worries. :) All is good!!

Hello VJ friends

I am almost done with getting ready for interview. I bought a clear book (file holder) and gathered all financial, domicile and civil documents in that. but i also have 3 folders of chat history (since May 2015 ), one folder of pics (like 20 from each trip, with family and without), cards on flowers he sent me, receipts of packages i sent him, passport copies as proof of traveling together, print of emails since August 2014, tickets. we have no join bank account (I am an Iranian living in Iran so i can't) and no child.

Does it look fine? Or i need to add extra documents?

and my last question, my husband filled two I-864 form and signed them when he wanted to send out IV and aos package and he kept one, can i take it to interview? or the date has to be current?I was sure about it and i searched, I was almost sure about it but I am being more paranoid as it gets closer to interview

Yes, as long as you bring everything that is requested, you should be fine. :)  They will already have your proof of bonafide relationship you originally submitted to the USCIS. So any new proof you bring should be from July 2016 to now.. BUT I've read from some that their IO (immigration officer) asked to see their wedding album.. So it's up to you how much you bring. :)

Yes, you can bring it as is. :)  They'll already have the original you submitted.. If they didn't ask for an updated/new version in your p4 letter, then you'll be fine. :)

Thank you so much for your fast reply. We got married at city hall and we have like 40 pics but not an album we already sent 10 to uscis. I printed 5-6 more of wedding pics to take to interview.

No they did not ask for an update, they just asked for copy or original. Thanks again

I just called wait time 15 min. Still no date and they don't know when they will start.

I Called this morning too. I had asked if they started September, the rep said "I believe so". Those reps just tend to provide conflicting answers. I don't blame them, I think they can only tell you what shows on their screens. Everything else is speculations. We just need to patiently wait. Good luck.
