Best of luck.   I posted a review on the Vietnam portal.

Do you get medical at Cho Ray? If yes did they send the medical record direct to Embassy, or we will pick it up?

There are two places to choose from to get the medical and they work by appointment only.   Cho Ray is in District 5 and depending where your spouse lives it could be extremely far away.

It can also be done at the International Organization for Migration in District 1 which is more central, again appointment only.   In addition, vaccinations have to be done at the Quarantine Service of HCMC, by appointment.    We had an expedited interview and little time to get medicals and vaccinations.  Cho Ray did not have any available appointments so she went to the International Organization.   It is quite a task to get this done.  My wife had to go for the medical exam, then go for the vaccinations, then bring the vaccinations proof back to where the medical exam was held, then 2 days later return to where the medical exam was held to pick up a sealed envelope which was brought to the consulate by us on the interview date.  If you can, choose the most convenient location for the medical as there is considerable running around.

I did include 2016 statements, but what they asked for was a document showing my husband as the beneficiary of the account. I had printed that out back in July 2016, so they wanted a more recent date on the print out. I used it as evidence of our relationship, not as assets for support, if that makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you so much -- yes, reading your original post (once) again made me realize what you were saying. :)

Yes, I used this also when we applied last year. I will have an updated version of it for the interview -- great point! Congrats and thank you again!

We are still waiting on our medical results to reach the embassy. The medical was done on the 6th of July so we are sitting at 2 weeks (10 business) days now.

I would advise once an interview date is given to immediately schedule the medical and try to get it 3 weeks before if possible. This way you can avoid one last waiting game before you get the visa in hand.

(This only based on the Stockholm embassy/medical, it seems like a few of the other European locations have a similar system)

It all depends on your embassy and what their availability is. For example @Hope101 CC'd in 7/18/17 and she already received her interview notification for her parents to interview in August. Other like me, has not received an interview date and it has been 14 days since CC'd. It is the luck of the draw :D. Lets hang in there and it is most likely we will hear some thing next week if it does not happen this week.

Yes Ramsu is perfectly right! Everything depends on the availability of your embassy.

For example I had my cc on June 19th and I had waited two weeks to receive my interview date for August 8th.

There are others who have their cc since June and they are still waiting for their interview.

Courage, it's coming!
