We're traveling with a pet too!!!  Just bought a sturdibag after extensive research but unfortunately, UK to US I could only find one airline permitting pets in cabin which was Lufthansa.  There was fine print for almost every other major airline - e.g., certain aircrafts will not permit pet in cabin and it just happens those models are the ones doing the transatlantic leg of the flight.

What airline did you end up going with?

I usually fly klm/delta with my doggie. They're the most pet friendly in my opinion. I fly from Bucharest to Amsterdam (4 h layover for a potty break and a good walk) and then Amsterdam to Atlanta. I usually have absorbant potty pads with me and take then with me in the bathroom onboard and my dog goes there if he has to.

Does Delta not fly out from London to NY?

It is hard, but hang in there, you will get it soon. My step father is from Ecuador also and it didn't take long for them to schedule the interview for his mother at Guayaquil.

It's very hard. I feel for the folks that have waited to see their spouse/family even longer than I have. Thank you for telling me about your step father. It's very helpful to know even just a little about the embassy.

My husband did carry a signed AOS to the interview. He was not asked for it even we had gotten a checklist. But it all depends on the CO. If you bring an AOS to the interview and they ask for it I am pretty sure it has to be signed because the AOS is basically like a contract.

Thank you.   What was your checklist about?   We got a checklist for W2 only, that is because the copy we sent to NVC for w2 was very blurry. I have the crisp copy of it now. So i'm guessing they'll be OK with the new w2. The i864 is like the ds260 application ... if they asked for w2 in checklist, and didnt raise any other points, it makes sense they're satisifed with the rest of financial documents we sent in. meh

our joint sponsor is out of country and it'll be a pain mailing around the i864 copy after him for addtional signatures now.

aww, so precious. I used to travel between the states and France with my dog. But that was 10-13 years ago, and it was quite easy to find an airline to fly with dogs in cabin. Looks like things have changed quite a bit since then. Had my dog passport full of her vaccine records. ;) One time US customs gave me a hard time, holding me up... At one point I said, what's the problem here, my dog is American, she was born in Texas, I took her to France.. his response, Dogs don't have a nationality! I say well she sure as heck does, now can you let me go please because I've traveled with her several time and never had a problem. He finally said, yeah, go ahead. but only after taking her dog food...

Diapers are really convenient but my doggie does not tolerate them at all! He will do anything in his power to take it off.

Here is our review. I might have missed a few things in the beginning since I was not present at the interview but I tried to add as much detail.  Thank you VJ family for your tremendous amount of support in the past few months. I plan on sticking around for as long as possible to help anyone who needs it based off my experience.

My husbands interview was scheduled for July 14th 8:30 am. He arrived there around 7:15.
Around 7:45 he was asked to get in the queue. The guards requested to see his passport and appointment letter. He explained to them that since our case was expedited we did not get an appointment letter and he only has an appointment confirmation that was emailed to him after we scheduled his interview online. They were okay with that and let him in without any issues. The immigrant visa applicants were separated from the non-immigrant visa applicants at this point. After his documents were checked and put in order by the staff he was asked to follow the red line and eventually was asked to be seated until his token number is called. He waited for about 35 minutes before his token number was called. An African American CO  greeted him in Punjabi and asked him the following questions:
Who is calling you?
How did you meet?
Love marriage or arrange marriage?
Who arranged it?
How did your families know each other before?
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
When was the last time you and your wife were together?
What does she doe for a living?
After that CO did some typing and said congratulations your Visa has been approved!
The CO was very warm and friendly and even joked around when my husband told him that he is an orthodontist.
Over all it was a great experience. He was not asked for any call logs, WhatsApp messages or pictures. Surprisingly they did not even ask for the w2 and AOS , even though we received a checklist for that!

You're so welcome! :) It was our pleasure. Not sure what you would have done without the special attention you received from @chamma and @PP_2016. They were so patient with your many questions. Sure all that dialogue will be helpful to future vj'ers. Glad it all worked out for you and your hubby. :)

Thank you for your review and for already adding it to the following link. Best wishes to your future and wishing you a successful POE. :)

 LOL!!! I:oops:  :ot:

I can see that, yeah, my dog was old.. And I had never trained her on pee pads. Wish I had though as that's a GREAT IDEA! Eventually when she couldn't hold her bladder anymore, she did appreciate those pee pads (when she could make it).
