Hai guys,

The copies of i864s I have for the sponsor and joint sponsor don't have any signatures from the sponsors (the copies I'm taking to the interview). I'm pretty sure the joint sponsor one Original had signatures as we had to send it to another country so the joint sponsor could sign the form. We didn't get a checklist for the i864s so the originals were definitely fine.

Is it gonna be an issue that the copies don't have signatures of the sponsor/joint sponsor?

The AOS seems to be one of the important documents. If I was you I would still get signature or take copies of the signed AOS you originally sent to the NVC if you aren't making any updates on the AOS.  You wouldn't want one small little thing delay the process.

So I just called NVC and I still don't have an interview date so I really don't understand how they organize them. She said it doesn't matter about the visa type, it is done by case complete but that obviously isn't true as your CC is July and mine June 28th. So I don't get it! I just want my date :/

:/ I'm sorry.  I really hope you get an interview date soon.

Have about if I didn't make a copy of the affidavit before I sent it?? Should I make another one or just take the tax returns?

It is hard, but hang in there, you will get it soon. My step father is from Ecuador also and it didn't take long for them to schedule the interview for his mother at Guayaquil.

Did the embassy ask for a copy of your i864 (affidavit of support) forms? And if they did, did the copies had any signatures?

My i864 copy doesn't have any signatures and the person who helped us with the files mentioned there's no need for the signature on the i864 copy as the ones we sent to NVC had the signatures and they were cleared by NVC so no issues. They say embassy won't even ask for the copies of i864, its jsut for personal record. Is this correct?

My interview is on the 25th july

@vintash @Adorable @Ahmed & Amy @justwaiting17  please answer this as we're worried we might be facing delays if anything is incomplete.

Google, an app called cheapflights - I'm a little picky of my flights because I'm travelling with a pet in cabin and not all airlines accept pets in cabin. Also I usually fly though Amsterdam and need at least 3h layover time to take my dog out for a walk before the next flight.

We're traveling with a pet too!!!  Just bought a sturdibag after extensive research but unfortunately, UK to US I could only find one airline permitting pets in cabin which was Lufthansa.  There was fine print for almost every other major airline - e.g., certain aircrafts will not permit pet in cabin and it just happens those models are the ones doing the transatlantic leg of the flight.

What airline did you end up going with?

My husband did carry a signed AOS to the interview. He was not asked for it even we had gotten a checklist. But it all depends on the CO. If you bring an AOS to the interview and they ask for it I am pretty sure it has to be signed because the AOS is basically like a contract.
