we got the checklist where we're taking a document to the interview. but it's still a cc.

Oh that's not bad. At least the case is complete. Great! Looks like ours is complete too. On hold with NVC ;) to confirm it.

Our interview will be reschedule around Oct.

My 2 kids are almost done to their medical they are for vaccination. Last step to them to complete medical.

But mine, not yet. I need to do sputum and culture test which waiting 2 months for the result. Collecting sputum scheduled me Aug1,2,3.

I asked the clinic if I can repeat my xray coz i doubted. Id never feel symptoms having tb even for long time ago.they said I'm not suspected to have tb but just want me to go test to make sure its not tb.

Oh well, almost 3 mos waiting here.

Sorry to hear about it. But as far as I know there is no much to do, my case was completed on May 23rd, and I don't have a date either. I called to the NVC a million times, and they tell me to wait, I'm tired of waiting but that's what we have to do. They will schedule us, hopefully soon. Good luck for you.

Same here,

scan date : 9 august 2016

CC : 24 May 2017

visa type: IR-2

US Embassy : cairo Egypt

no interview date yet I've been calling every day and all I get "just wait we will inform you by email"

hope we get a date in august so my kids could be enrolled in school

Is it true that if a tourist visa was previously denied the chances of cr1 getting denied are high?

It's my understanding that it can depend on the reason for denial. If it's due to fraud, then the answer might be yes -- if it's for "not being able to prove close ties to country" or not being able show sufficient income or similar common reasons, it should not have any bearing on a CR-1 visa as they are different classes of visas.

Major concern would be falsifying any info on the tourist application (example: claiming being married when single etc.) -- this might very well be a deal breaker if and when caught.

I was denied a tourist visa bcoz I once was denied a fiancée visa so basicall they saw that I wanted to immigrate to America not realy visiting because of my husband now invited me so they were like maybe I was trying to immigrate there bcoz he was my fiancé but the reason for the denial of fiancé visa was time elapse for 2 years after meeting in person,

so my question is this do you think they will approve my visa on all this two denial visa?
