So here is the thing. Regardless of whether they ask for a copy of the AOS or not if I were I would fill out a new one sign it and send it to your spouse to take it to the interview. That can never hurt.

My spouse is here with me... I kind of don't want to do that because how about if I mess up and I put something different from what my lawyer put even by. Number

The AOS is pretty much based on facts and numbers. I don't see too many chances of messing up.

I rather not I think I'm just gonna take my chances if my lawyer says I don't need it then that should be true

They will go with the "updated" AOS at the interview if they request it. As @KaurN said its just current information and a signature. Still I think you are good if your AOS includes the 2016 tax year.

What I'm going to do instead is take my 2016 taxes instead..i mean it's pointless worrying about something that they already have I know each case is different and I thank you guys for your feed back

I don't trust lawyers in this matter. They make more mistakes than one could imagine. But it  is totally up to you.

But do I have to pay the fee again I submitted for the AOS?

Yep, every case and consulate is different. No way to tell exactly what they want specific to your case. I padded my folder with a bunch of just in case papers that will only be handed out if asked for.  NP, hope everything goes smooth for you.

There would be no reason as to why you would have to pay that fee again.

I called my lawyer again and he told me again not to worry because they have the AOS along with my taxes at the consular office already he said that if they didn't have them they would not of scheduled me
