I have sent my fiance a copy of the I-129f, my passport, birth certificate, and the affidavit of support with all supporting documents. 

What is next? Does she send the documents in the checklist to the embassy? Or schedule the interview and bring them?

Generally, she'd need to hear from the embassy, submit her DS-160, make a fee payment and then schedule an interview. Depending on her embassy, she might need to send them the interview confirmation slip beforehand. Thereafter, she'd need to schedule a medical and get that done.

 

She also needs to gather documents that concern her such as police certificate, divorce decree and any other required documents apart from the I-134 + supporting and your letter of intent. These documents are usually to be carried to the embassy on interview day.

It's fairly common not to receive Packet 3 in Thailand...not sure why exactly. Begin emailing the consulate and they'll let you know when the case has been received. As soon as you get confirmation from the consulate that the case has been received then your fiancé can send the docs using the checklist provided 

 

keep in mind for k1 the consulate sets the interview appointment. 

 

Dies she have the Police clearance certificate yet? securing that takes about a month now unless you pay for express service and that service isn't always offered because it isn't legal

  • 2020.03.09 -- N-400 filed and feed paid online
  • 2020.03.14 -- Email/Text notifications received that biometrics appt scheduled
  • 2020.03.14 -- NOA of case receipt received via USPS

  • 2020.03.30 -- Received email notification that biometrics appt scheduled for April 2 canceled due to Covid19
  • 2020.04.02 -- Biometrics scheduled for 1:00 PM canceled due to Covid-19
  • 2020.08.07 -- Myuscis update: biometrics being reused
  • 2020.08.14 -- NOA of biometrics reuse received via USPS
