Forgot biometric fee with concurrent filing

Hey

i did concurrent filing after marriage with USC which was delivered 2 days ago. I m currently on B2 with i-94 expiring on 3Aug2017.

I forgot to add 85$ biometric fee with i485.

What should i do now?

would they reject the complete application or just ask for the fee?

and what if all this process of refiling made me go over the time limit of my i94 though i know i still have a little more then over a month.

If the fee is incorrect, the application will be returned to you without prosessing. You'll have to resubmit the application with the correct fee.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

In very, very few cases they contact you and let you know how to pay for the biometrics without rejecting your applications. I think I've only ever seen one or two such cases though, so it's very likely that they will reject the applications like A'n'L said.

Thank you so much for the response.

Now one last question, as my i94 would he expiring in a month, what would be the safest bet for me.

should i wait for the package to come back and resend it with proper fee

or

should i straight away send a new package with proper fee to them and when they send me back the older package just keep it with myself and not send that one back

Wait until your package is returned to you and send it back with the right fee. Do not send a second package, if they for some reason accept your first package you do not want to have two active applications.

It doesn't matter that your i-94 is about to expire, there's no deadline to file for AOS. Some people wait months and even years to file. Your overstay will be ignored.

Yes, they will get back to you to let you know how to pay the biometrics fee. I have seen a few such cases, not many at all. I don't remember how they paid the fee, maybe it can be paid at the actual biometrics place, not sure. Otherwise they might ask you to send an additional check.

Dear, I got my entire package returned because I used a outdated form of I-130, I got married one month before the expiration of my I-94 (also a tourist visa) but only applied about 4 months latter (last month), don't worry about your I-94, first of all you're applying before it expire, second of all, when you marry a American Citizen they forgive your overstay.

I even got a drivers license with my expired I-94 and the acceptance letters from USCIS, no reason for you to worry at all.

By the way, the package got back to me a week after I sent and it came with a green piece of paper that you have to put on top of the new package that you're going to send...do not even try to send the same package, I sent everything again, one day after I got it back because I had exactly copy of everything that I sent so I only reused the photos, the money orders and the check, everything else I printed and signed again and one more time made copy of everything, including the green letter and the envelope with the medical exam.

Best of luck to you!
