Typographical error at my name on the green card

Hi everyone , after entering the us and waiting for more than 120 days to receive my green card it came to But it was so disappointing after this whole time waiting it has one extra letter in my name 

so i had to call uscis they said send us back the card and mail us the form i90 

so my question dis this happened with anybody before 

and aslo how long it might take to receive the new card 

last question since I entered the us on CR1 visa the  dates on my card was since the day I entered the is and the expiration date was after 2 years from that date so is it going to be the same or it will be since the date they made me the new card ?

Yes but i need to correct it onto my green card so when i travel I don't face any trouble
