Has anyone from New Delhi rescheduled their CR-1 interview?

Hi all,

 

Wondering if any ND folks had to reschedule their interview dates and if so, what was the outcome? Any major delays etc.?

 

I will be traveling to India to attend the interview and am having a scheduling conflict. 

 

Any help is appreciated!

NVC 

03/17/17: NVC received

03/21/17: Submitted DS-261 (Online Choice of Address and Agent)

03/22/17: Received DS-261+ AOS Bill
03/22/17: AOS Bill Paid
03/27/17: Received + Paid IV Bill

04/20/17: PCC + New Birth Certificate received (took 4+ weeks)

07/25/17: Medical scheduled (Max in Lajpat)

07/26/17: Medical completed (will be ready to pick up in 3-4 days)
08/01/17: Medical papers ready for pickup

08/16/17: Interview Day

08/16/17: Visa Approved - Woohoo! 💕

08/17/17: Visa issued + passport ready for pickup

08/18/17: Passport and sealed envelops picked up

08/19/17: Immigration Fee ($220) paid via ELIS
08/25/17: Plane ticket purchased (POE on Sep) 😍
09/14/17: POE at Dulles 

ROC

09/10/19: I-751 Packet sent 🤘
09/20/19: NOA I-797 received!

Haha, I think the answer is NO! I don't blame anyone really -- who would mess with a perfectly good interview date!

 

Update: I will shuffle my work schedule and make it to India for hubby's interview!  :thumbs:

Well...I dont know about CR-1 interview but I had to re-reschedule for my K-1 visa interview. When i first registered on ustraveldocs with my e-mail address, it automatically showed me the next available date(on the left side of the screen) for the interview but it showed me for Mumbai Consulate but my case was with New Delhi Embassy. Thinking my case was transferred and that's why it was showing was showing dates for Mumbai IV, i confirmed a particular date. But next day i had to re-schedule for another date (first change of interview date). After that i sent a mail to ustraveldocs confirming that I scheduled interview for Mumbai but not Delhi, the reply i got was, my case is with new delhi and i will have to go to new delhi consulate for interview but if i wish to transfer my case to mumbai it wil take 2-3 weeks. I had to againnnnnn re-schedule my interview date and this time for New Delhi and so i went for the interview and got approved !!!

 

With one fee payment receipt that you pay to the bank, you will be able to change the interview dates for the maximum of 3 times on ustraveldocs and payment once made at the bank is valid for 1 year.

We ended up keeping our interview date since we were concerned that rescheduling it would setting us back for months. 

 

All went well and my husband's visa has been approved!
