Anybody as nervous as I am about the interview?

My wife and I were both very nervous for her interview at the US Embassy in the Philippines. (We were a CR-1 but I think they ask the same questions for a K-1.)  I accompanied her and it turned out to be very easy.  As long as you really know each other, where your fiance works, how much money he or she makes (approximately), home address, any previous marriages, any children...you will be fine.  In fact, the officer asked me more questions.  We were done with the interview in about 5 minutes. (The officer was trying to scare us by asking questions then using a large red marker and literally making a huge X over each document as she flipped through them.)  But as long as your relationship is genuine you should have no problem.  Relax, take a deep breath.  Be friendly and polite.  Relax, you'll be fine.  If you are a believer say a prayer.  Good luck and God Bless

My Filipina fiance got asked 3 questions. We had made sure she knew my parents full names, their siblings, and all kinds of obscure stuff. Of course, none of it came up lol.

Just try to relax! I know it's hard, but you'll get through it!
